Staff really warm and very welcoming. really nice to arrive to smiling faces after stressful journey on a dark rainy night. Warm, clean everything we wanted and a surprise of a lovely cooked breakfast.
was fairly clean, shower worked was basic and small but was budjet room was warm
the bed was against the wall had to climb over each other , was very small double. had to sleep end as so cramped. ok for single person but not double. Bed lumpy
-It was a 2 star hotel, exactly like it said it was -Close to Tube. -Breakfast was good.
-Dirty room and mouldy bathroom. -Animals had been in the room, based on my allergic reaction. -Difficult to find staff in the evening to report above problems.
Location, easy to get to Tuffnel Park tube and Kentish town only 10 minute walk. Camden another 15 minutes. Lovely area. Free parking a real bonus and it's outside the congestion zone area. Easy access from north. Cheap'n'convenient
Basic and in need of some TLC. Room was very basic and smelt of fried food as it was over the kitchen. Bathroom was very cramped and needed regrouting.
Room was like Ann Franks prison cell - tiny and no headroom. Rodent control in full view of guests. Breakfast inedible. Never again. Price unacceptable for that!
Not a great deal I liked to be fair. Staff seemed moody on arrival and throughout our stay. Rooms are tiny. Staff could not understand us at breakfast and give us gone off milk for for tea. Breakfast wasn't great and if milk was off then who knows about bacon, beans, mushrooms and eggs.
it was old, bad painted,
hotel has good location & safe parking, staff was more relaxed this time.
No cupboard to put any clothes in. No bed side table or reading light. Very basic: bed, table & one wooden chair, one main ceiling light. Light in bathroom didn't work, so no possibility to get ready properly for a business meeting.
Free off-street car park Excellent near-central location Very friendly (in the morning!) staff Cooked breakfast (only continental advertised)
Shower room was mouldy, dark and rather smelly Paper-thin walls so sleep easily interrupted
Decent size room Breakfast Staff
Bathroom tiny with slippery tiles very dangerous. Big crust calcium stains Thin blinders
The landlady gave us another room for the second night, which was better. She mentioned that there were problems with the plumbing in Room1. Breakfast was good, although a bit of fruit would be nice. .
We stayed in Room 1 the first night. It smelled and was damp. The carpet was dirty and the curtains were hanging off the track. When I took a shower the tray filled up in about two minutes and overflowed onto the floor. The hand basin also filled up with water. My husband had to carefully stand on the edges of the shower tray as the water did not recede. This hotel is run down and needs an overhaul from top to bottom.
the wi fi was good the breakfast is simple but fresh it is quiet it was clean
the beds are a little olds the rooms and the bathrooms are too small
Staff friendly, but very stressed. Location very good, safe parking.
Room tiny and very, very basic. Not comfortable at all. No space to put any clothes. One basic ceiling light. It would be a single room not a double, to small.
The food was good
The room was small
Friendliness of staff good location for were we wanted to be and really good value considering its the capital
Was basic but very clean and exactly what we needed for the festival weekend! Would definitely recommend.
Slightly pricey for what it was but that's what you have to expect when staying in London.
The breakfast was wonderful and very generous, and the hotel was generally very clean and the staff very friendly. There is also a very good tv in the room with lots of channels to choose from.
The room we had was very small and faced a wall, so had little natural light.
Perfect located for a gig at Finsbury Park. Friendly staff and very clean
Price a bit more than I'd have liked, but given the proximity to Finsbury Park on the eve of a big gig, the price was ok compared to others
Very welcoming! Clean room. Wifi. Good breakfast.
Small room and shower.
Breakfast Off road parking
Luke warm Shower General tattiness of the property
good location to The Forum
needs maintenance and updating. breakfast finishes at 9am on week days so need to be up early in time to make breakfast.
The breakfast was super. Well cooked and very quick. With loads of fruit juice and coffee. Top marks for the breakfast. And the bedding was spotless white and beds comfortable.
The room was cramped with nowhere to put stuff (except 2 tiny bedside tables). The bedside lights didn't work and in fact the fluorescent tubes did not have covers. The carpet was dirty. The bathroom was very bare and slightly smelly, and the shower dripped constantly and splashed onto the floor so that in the morning the bathroom floor was a lake. Again nowhere to put belongings. And there was no kettle! Got back late at night after a very long working day, desperate for cup of tea and there is only a vending machine of chocolate and fizzy drinks!
