Room was nice
Quality of food was awful,I'd expect better from a b&b.
Breakfast was good - and not so good. The hot choices are freshly made and delicious!! Eggs Benedict were very good - the rest of the buffet was quite sad and they just didn't get it. GREAT LOCATION!!
The place does look a bit old.
5 min walk to centre of Lincoln, parking on site. Large tv, nice shower and very comfortable beds
The location. Friendly staff. This was my second time stay and again I find the hotel a very good place to stay whilst in Lincoln.
The wi-fi connection was slow and intermittent in the bedroom.
Really close to the Cathedral and Castle. Friendly helpful staff, fabulous room, couldn't have asked for more really.
Location, ambience, comfort
Reduced facilities due to weddings taking place.
lovely bathroom nice spacious room clean linen and comfortable bed nice furnishing
couldn't open the window due to rotting window frame stains on the carpet car parking fees
Breakfast service very poor, waitress didn't have a clue about prices! food run out and had to ask for food which came eventually, hot food didn't get what we ordered and when they finally brought the missing items we had finished the main breakfast !! Not what you expect when your paying £7.95 for a breakfast!! we did all the running around and no apology!!!
Very kind and attentive staff and despite there being weddings on both days (which I had been warned about) it was a quiet location. Lovely room and bathroom with coffee and tea on tap. Good location for Cathedral and Castle.
Wasn't a problem for me - but no lift.
Clean rooms and friendly welcome
Wi fi didn't work in te morning and we needed to get some important information
Lovely hotel and setting very friendly staff.
Our room was on the second floor,( no lift) and as I had recently had a knee operation and using a walking stick I would not have booked had I known, but this was all I could say I did not like.
The hotel was in the old part of the town, everything restaurants museums bars where all within walking distance, friendly staff and a warm welcome.
Good location for exploring the city, peaceful, and comfortable. Good breakfast.
It is a shame that the Council don't know what to do with the other building in "The Lawns". The unused (listed?) building detracts from the location, hence only 2.
Hotel clean though some stains on the bedroom carpet. Reception staff were very helpful.
Bedroom adequate but not exciting. No real atmosphere. No hairdryer in room
Comfortable well presented rooms
Parking charges for the price paid
Central location. Low price but high quality room and bathroom.
The size of the room. Location. Tea making facilities. Hair Straighteners in room.
Noise of people coming back early in the morning. Noise of traffic passing through the car park at back of hotel first thing in the morning. Very Very slippery floor and shower once wet.
The "kettle". For the first time a unit that dispenses very hot water for coffee and cold water for drinking. The lounge with an additional TV. Private car parking. Location, so close to the key places to eat and visit.
fantastic hotel very friendly and helpful staff excellent location to everything you need rooms great size very clean will be staying again would recomend
The suite was lovely. The bathroom and separate sitting room was very nice. The bed was very comfy and the facitities were good.
Some elements in the suite are looking tired. The lampshade was spilt and the wallpaper shabby in places.
Accommodation and facilities were top notch
could not find fault with stay
Convenient location, luxury appointments in my room. Real peace and quiet to be found here. Very nice polite staff.
Pretty grim view of the now vacant former asylum in the grounds. Breakfast was overpriced for what it was; I paid a lot less for almost twice the amount andctop quality food too, at a lovely cafe near the cathedral - just 5 minutes' walk.
Beautiful hotel, staff very helpful & gave suggestions of eating places & pubs. Glad we choose to stay as perfect quiet area but within walking distance to all amenities. Would recommend widow cullens well & strugglers pubs.
Wi fi not great but didn't really matter.
Close to tourist attractions, excellent breakfast! Friendly staff, good amenities in room & ensuite.
Hotel was booked for a wedding reception so restaurant was closed. Car parking is not free for guests.
Very clean and upmarket hotel rooms are very nice with loads of room very nice stay
