The staff were fantastic. The owners were very friendly and made me feel at home. The breakfast was great and with plenty of choice. On a very cold weekend the room was lovely and cosy. Strong smell of smoke in my room even though it was non-smoking.

The hotel had all round excellent service due to its comfort, welcoming feel and the way we were immediately greeted by the owner who excelled in knolledge of the area and over all friendliness. If we were ever to stay in Peterborough again I would definately stay there again. Better quality breakfast although he did make sure it was hot for all of us even though I was late at the breakfast table due to dealing with my car being repaired.

Arrived quite late for my stay and even so they we're very welcoming and helpful. Lovely breakfast and very tasty scambled eggs.... I would definately stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends.

The hotel is situated near the town centre and is easily walked to. We received a warm welcome in arrival and breakfast was good. Our room was on the small side and ensuite was tiny ! Found room very warm at night.

The service was very good and personal. I was travelling alone, and they have single rooms with no supplement. Breakfast was good and well cooked, and the room had tea and coffee making facilities and a television. Extremely good value for money. The only downside was the distance from the centre of town. OK for young, fit people, but a bit too far to walk for me.

Hotel convenient for the City Centre, Nene Valley Railway and Beer Festival (in late August) Breakfast times rather limited (7.30 or 8.00). Very limited storage space and no wardrobe (only a few coat-hangers and coat-hooks).

Stayed while attending Burghley Horse Trials (as were most other guests!). The owner and his wife were extremely friendly and helpful. My daughter and I were in quite a small (but lovely) room, and so the owner didn't charge us for breakfast to compensate. Would definately stay here again.

The ease of the owners, nothing was to much trouble and they liked to talk to you, no big don't do this or that just plain common sense rules. Breakfast was a treat, and set you up for the day. If you wanted the Ritz forget it this was a comfortable, clean, somewhere to put your head down for the night, a good shower ( some may say small) but with the space avaible they have done a very good job.Though I may not go that direction again I would give it a 100% tick. The only thing that I found wrong was just having a week and not two!

The very friendly and enthusiastic staff made my stay at Charlotte House Hotel a nice experience. The house is at a relatively busy road; those who are bothered by that should request a room at the back of the house.
