It might be considered obvious, but having exactly what was booked actually reserved is a bonus, and sets the stay off on a positive note. Our room was comfortable, the bed was huge and made for a good nights sleep.
Located in a relatively good area of Nuneaton and rooms fairly modern but the experience was awful!
The absence of a night porter or any overnight staff meant a wedding party were able to run riot ALL NIGHT! A group of 10-15 people stood smoking and drinking loudly outside our window around 3.30am. No sleep at all!!
Extra teabags provided on request
Not enough teabags in the room
nice hotel, good beer selection, good breakfast 7.99 but you help yourself to continental selction, but no meat??
if you don't drive,15 mins from railway station,a good 25 mins to town centre
Friendly staff . Great feel at the bar
location - room was very good - how quiet it was even at night, and there was a wedding party on.
kids running riot in the dinning area screaming and being total annoying kids. we told the mothers to calm them down, to no avail..
We stayed here last year. Food is excellent and the breakfast hearty. Beds comfy with enough pillos if you needed more.
Gone downhill since last August. There was no way of locking the bathroom door as the entire lock had been removed! The staff, while friendly, were so understaffed they were totally snowed under. Unfair on them! Also the room only had towels for one person, even though it was a twin! Stingy on the hospitality try too, woth only 1 teabag each! Asked for more and they were cheerfully provided along with a jug of milk.
Location was good. Accommodation was great value for money. Restaurant food was good and bar service. Would stay again at the Chase hotel.
Room was clean and large a bit tired ok for overnight stay
Restaurant foor was good but not hor also breakfast basic and not warm either
PUB ATMOSPHERE BEER GARDEN FOOD
The bed was the biggest I'd ever seen in a hotel /b&b/guest house & very comfortable. Plenty of towels.
Granted it was a very warm day but the room was very hot even with the window open wide.
friendly staff always ready to help
food menu always the same also more coffee and tea supplies in room would be nice after travelling 2 cups is not really enough another tea bag and coffee would be a good idea also perhaps a biscuit room a little expensive at £54 weekdays
Cost wise this appears good value and I have stayed before. It is a bit dated and tired but the rooms have all you need. Food is okay and again fairly priced.
I felt that locals get preferential service at the bar and experienced this when stood waiting to be served (there was only one other person at the bar) and the barman found a way to serve 2 regulars ahead of me who walked up well after me. I complained to the duty manager and asked for directions to the nearest bar. He didn't seem concerned and merely directed me to the nearest bar. My party of 4 left. Later on we were sat quietly in the garden when at 2300 hrs we were forced to move to the front of the pub some 20 feet away as the neighbours don't like noise. Not sure moving us would have made any difference had we been noisy especially as our places in the garden were then taken up by staff coming out to smoke.
The Chase Inn had all the facilities we needed for a good night out. We had drinks and a meal there before going into town. The quality and price were exceptional value for money. The staff were lovely and friendly and we were able to have fun with them and ended up on first name terms. I was very impressed that my wishes were all adhered too and I got an peaceful nights sleep with no disturbances during the night or first thing in the morning, which is a first for me, as I am a light sleeper. The night out in Nuneaton at the Queens hall was very good too and the locals were all friendly and well behaved. We finished the night out with a curry from the masala which was superb. I am definitely going back to Nuneaton for a night out and will be staying at The Chase Inn again.
Every thing was good.
Lovely building and gardens. Restaurant and bar very spacious. Food very nice, service was fast. Staff very friendly in hotel and bar and restaurant. Background music in bar great, huge t.v's for watching sport. The room was small but comfortable, clean, bed very big.
Shower runs a bit slow
Lot of loud talking from adjacent room until 04.30am. No one on night desk to sort out problem.
Everything was good for us, and as my daughter is moving to the area we may well stay again
Only thing i didn't like was that it was a bit dark in the room where we ate breakfast, I need glasses and i struggled a little to read menu. Thats my only complaint
Good value Comfortable bed
Windows hardly opened - no air on a very hot night
everything you need in one place, clean comfortable, ample parking, food and good selection of drinks/beers,good value.
only one issue ,leaking shower hose, found out on morning of departure so to late to resolve.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a lovely beer garden and the evening meal was very tasty. I didn't use the Wi-Fi as for one night it wasn't worth me taking my laptop.
It was my own fault but didn't like the veggie breakfast. I've been on a diet for 12mns and everything was very grease. I should have just ordered a poached egg but i'll better next time
The very large comfortable bed. The quiet location.
Sink plug let water out. Lighting totally inadequate for reading in bed. Some mould on bathroom tiles.
Good service. Excellent value for money - and wide choice for dinner. Rooms very clean and modern - nothing fancy, but had everything I needed at a great price.
Breakfast started a bit late (not 7am prompt!) - I was hoping to get away early, but this didn't spoil my visit.
The Beef and Ale pie - excellent value at 2 for £12. The Hobgoblin beer long promised on our last visit. However it did not last long. Better double the number of casks next time.
Breakfast selection: No natural non sugar yogurt. Muesli well hidden and not very exciting when discovered.
Instant Coffee for breakfast - Full English Breakfast really good but would be made even better with a pot of fresh coffee.
Spotlessy clean and helpful friendly staff
