Excellent breakfasts Excellent service Spacious car park
Being unsteady on my feet I found the stairs difficult Hand rail difficult to grip Our one evening meal was not up to the standard of the breakfasts
Lovely room over looking the garden. Fabulous food. Comfy bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Walking distance to the town centre. Lovely gardens. Loads of parking.
Nothing to dislike.
Hugh quality hotel at reasonable price.
Great value, breakfast was excellent value..
Grand looking hotel with lovely foyer and staircase, Beautiful views over the grounds, yet close to all amenities in the town.
The standard room was quite small but perfectly adequate for one night.
We were there for a function and the food was amazing.
Breakfast was ok, but not brilliant!
Although everything was satisfactory the hotel itself would benefit from a really good make-over.
The food in the restaurant was absolutely superb and the service was excellent. Two minute walk into Ross.
Hard pillows. Room right above central heating boiler. Unattractive view. Only towels for one person. Superior room was only very ordinary.
Generaly very acceptable, breakfast was exelent
Bedroom ok for 1 night but we would not like staying for a longer time as the room was very small, the remote handset for the TV had not been cleaned for some time as it was dirty and very sticky.
Beautiful grounds and public areas.
Black damp on the bedroom walls , found old make compact under bed . Kettle location and furniture where tired.
Good hotel, excellent location on edge of town, and very pleasant staff. The food in Harry's Bar and Restaurant was some of the best we have had. Also and excellent breakfast.
Nothing to dislike.
The building and grounds are beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Bedrooms not very big for a superior double room. Bathrooms need upgrading for the price per room being charged. Wifi should be included in the cost.
friendly staff, good breakfast and very clean
bathroom needed updating as washbasin and bath need mixer taps toilet base wobbled as not screwed to the floor and had a very poor flush
Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Breakfast was perfect. Staff friendly and helpful.
Paper thin walls. Man snoring in the next room kept waking me up.
Location of the Chase. Good size room with excellent facilities. Plenty of hot water with a good shower. Nice grounds. Pleasant staff.
Lovely setting and a good breakfast. comfy bed,
we never received an email informing us of the function on the saturday night which continued till 1am also one member of the breakfast staff (female)didn't seem to want to be there in the morning!
Location and grounds Harrys retaurant cleanliness
dreadful nights sleep due to party lots of noise in corridor (avoid rooms 2,3,4. Staff not attentive - no bar service room 4 - matress dreadful
Liked the location..setting is lovely.....Hotel is a beautiful building....breakfast great!!!
Nothing not to like about this Hotel...!!
Very good position to visit Ross. Easy access to town centre etc but an oasis of calm when you returned and entered the hotel grounds. Very nice bar/lounge/patio area and most staff were very friendly and obliging.
There did not appear to be anyone in overall charge of the restaurant. No one to greet and show you to your table and service was haphazard because of this. One female staff member was notably surly!
The room was very small and it and the bathroom need to be bought into the 21st century!
Pleasant hotel for a one night stay, the room was comfortable and clean.
Food, Bar area and restaurant were very good. Staff very helpful and friendly Rooms and Hotel communal areas were clean and well kept
Standard room was OK, nothing wrong with it, just nothing to get too excited about.
We felt very comfortable at The Chase Hotel but should have checked before booking whether or not there was a lift. We enjoyed our stay but being on the second floor made us realise that access to upper floors (at our age) requires a lift.
Lack of a lift.
The location and helpful staff. Breakfast good and cooked to order.
Claustrophobic room (11) with no outlook except roof and walls. Noisy fan from kitchen when window open. Dinner was average. No avocado in a dish that was called "avocado & prawn cocktail" which was why I ordered it.
The hotel was very nice, staff very pleasent and helpful. Standard of cleanliness very good. Room pleasent and well equipped. Breakfast and meals excellent choice. Adequate parking.
Due to to my wife's present state of health the stairs were a bit of a problem, but in fairness we were warned before arrival and could have gone elsewhere without losing money.
