It provided a good service for the price, and the rooms were well decorated.

A lot of noisy drunk people in the early hours. Although this was not the hotel's fault, it ruined my stay.

As me and my partner arrived in Wakefield we were welcomed by the friendly night reception man he was very polite and so helpful, this hotel is clean and meets veryhigh standards. The double bed was comfortable and a very big room lovely bathroom and the price is too amazing. When checking out the.morning staff were just as lovely I will definitely be booking this hotel again in the near future.

I have no complaints about this hotel everything meets high standards

We stayed at the hotel beacuse ofthe bad weather. The room was very spacious and very clean. The sheets were clean and the bed huge!!. The only bug bear was that the bath was quite small and you could not lay back and relax in it.There was a good size tv with free view tv . the staff were nice and friendly . We did not use the lounge bar but it looked very inviting and plan to use when we stay again. This hotel was real value for money!!!!

The clocks had gone forward in the night so I was unwittingly half an hour late checking out,however no one entered my room,there were no knocks on the door and no ringing of the phone to turf me out,the staff simply let me surface in my own sweet time...

If only fools and horses had been set in cold war russia,the chasley hotel would make a perfect nelson mandela house...It needs a big cash injection to bring it into the 21st century..at which point people like myself will probably no longer be welcome there.

just the price and convenience for my needs on that particular occasion

the hotel interior was very dowdy and not up to the standard I have come to expect from similar priced hotels. it was adequate for my needs but needs investment in upgrading decor, room fixtures&fittings, heating and communal areas to make it competitive and attractive to guests using the hotel.

Clean room, adequate size, two single beds joined together, tea/coffee making facilities, very warm shower, fantastic location, nice entrance foyer and bar area.

Perhaps a little shabby, walls are quite thin, although it is in a quiet area, lift a little outdated.

It was value priced and in the city center...close to bus and coaches.

Central location, close to all the facilities/sights including Catheral and art gallery.

The staff member was very polite and helpfull towards me and the bed was extreamly comfortable. The bar was very welcoming aswell.

Typical city centre hotel that has seen better days but rooms still to a very good standard and very clean. Certainly excellent value for the money paid and location in the city centre ideal for what we needed to do.

Breakfast was cleared away 30 minutes before the time advertised in the hotel handbook.

Location was excellent

Location - in city centre, 5 mins walk from main train station. On hill with good views. Free parking if you have a car. Coffee and tea making facilities but sign says they do not recommend using tap water! New TV but limited choice - you need to ask reception for a remote control and pay a refundable £10 deposit - a sign on the TV would be helpful! Also you can obtain a hairdryer from recpetion. Bathroom clean - appears to have been renovated. Good price £40/night.

Dated 60's style building. No individual comfort heating or cooling. No fridge. No drinking water - you had to shop for this, though shops near. Lift appears very old with no indicator lights for floors/direction etc. Door and lock stiff. Door lightweight - could hear conversations in corridor. Next time, if I travel by car, would probably choose Holiday Inn etc - but further away and more expensive.
