Location to the main bars and clubs. No lifts working and we were on the 4th floor, decor very tired, tea making facilities very poor. Tea bags were damp in the packaging.

The bar area is well kept. - the bedroom was spacious. - nice view. - good curtains (light didn't come through in the morning) - hot water for the bathroom. - warm in the room - the night porter is always friendly - even when I fall through the door at stupid o clock! - there's a short brown haired lady behind the desk who when I stayed last Thursday was a ray of sunshine! She was very welcoming! :D - two beds pushed together fell apart. - 3 pillows not 4 - the quilt cover rose up (no ties for the quilt to stay inside) - no remote (the three times I've stayed here - guessing that's because Wakefield idiots steal them, my partner had bought a universal remote to use when we stay haha) - there's a youngish male person that was behind the desk (Wednesday night), no eye contact, no smile, was very unwelcoming which made me and my partner feel awkward. - the soap brought me out in a rash (I have no allergies haha) - the towel rail hasn't worked the three times I've stayed. - the cleaner knocked on the door around 10.30am asking if we were just staying tonight and said we had to be out by 11... Didn't bother me but imagine if there's people asleep who are staying the second night? They may want a lie in... - I stay at the chasley after nights out in Wakefield and the positioning is amazing which is probably why there is the cost of £45 but for the comfort of the beds I think it should be around £38-£40... To compete with the travelodge, people don't mind walking the extra bit to pay less, have a remote, comfortable beds, 4 pillows, (trust me I'd normally stay there but they've been so booked up recently) but if the prices were brought down I think maybe some more clientele would want to come to where you are - helpful tip I hope!

The service was excellent. Friendly and very well run. The rooms were large and the carpark has cctv The lift although old was a godsend It's right in the centre of town a very short walk to anywhere. The choice of food in the restaurant was poor, that would be why it was empty

Loved the size of the room and bed. Also impressed with the refurbished bathroom. Pleasantly decorated room. Great TV. Size and quality. Graffiti in the lift - showing a penis! No sign to tell residents that TV remotes are not kept in the room. Would have saved me searching. Sink plug non funtional. You can't pull it out.

In the city centre, close to the train station, polite staff The hotel requires a lot of maintenance, the list of broken or dodgy things is endless (in the room and around the hotel)

Location was perfect for us, also the bar/reception area was clean and tidy. Greeted with smiles from staff as we came and left and even at the early hours that we came back! Room was a let down, booked for a double room where I would expect a double bed, only to find it had to singles pushed together. This was classed as a double executive room!! The room was a bit shabby but was ok for the one night we needed it for.

It was central to Wakefield and cheap Unclean, the other guests were roudy to say the least. It felt more like a youth hostel experience. Having no lifts working to the forth floor did not help.

It provided a good service for the price, and the rooms were well decorated. A lot of noisy drunk people in the early hours. Although this was not the hotel's fault, it ruined my stay.

The double bed was comfortable and a very big room lovely bathroom and the price is too amazing. When checking out the.morning staff were just as lovely I will definitely be booking this hotel again in the near future. I have no complaints about this hotel everything meets high standards
