Relaxing style Comfortable room Good food at very reasonable prices

At the price, there's nothing to dislike!

The Building and grounds are amazing The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much for them I could imagine that it would be a stunning setting for a wedding. My friend and I were staying here for a business meeting in Droitwich, however I will be returning with my husband at a later date for a really relaxing weekend.

Only one minor fault for the money we paid for a deluxe room we were shocked that hairdryers were not standard. However as soon as we asked for one it was brought to our room.

The location is wonderful, it is dog friendly, The Staff were the best we have ever encountered anywhere in the world. Friendly, polite and ready to help. We have stayed before and will again.

The extensive grounds and the setting are beautiful as are the main areas of the chateau. I remember this in its heyday as a major conference venue and it still has acres of conference and exhibition space - and it's a great wedding venue!

Jason's Carvery restaurant is a tired "olde worlde" style of restaurant that needs a complete makeover - as do the bedrooms - when did we last install pink bathroom suites?? Our bedroom was also draughty and cold due to ill-fitting original French windows.

Beautiful grounds, spectacular views from upper floors, really special feel to surroundings, lovely staff, superb breakfast, really good value.

Nothing worth mentioning except it would be nice to have somewhere to plug in a shaver in the bathroom and maybe a hairdryer would be nice - you get these in Travelodge!

I was offered only 'room only' and I would have liked to have booked B and B

The main building was beautiful although a bit dated inside. Most of the pictures concentrate on the outside and gardens? Breakfast was good and plenty of it.

We were put into an annex at the top of the campari with no outside window which felt like a student dormitory. We thought we had got a decent deal but the realised why, most of the rooms are situated in annex style accomodation and this should be made very clear when booking.

Close to the motorway.

This was a horrible experience and we will certainly never go back. It was a last minute booking for £79. Whilst we weren't expecting a premier we were expecting a room that was clean and comfortable. We were hugely disappointed in both these respects. We were first directed to a room in an annex. Over the years I've stayed in many, many hotels and this was the worst hotel room I've ever experienced. It was dark, dingy, down at heel, extremely dated and cold. The worst feature, however, was that the window looked directly onto a brick wall, and looked out to the interior atrium of the annexe. This added to the overall dingy, claustrophobic feeling. We called reception and, to be fair, we were 'upgraded' without argument. This room was inside the main hotel and, with a window that looked outside, was a step forward and we accepted the room. This room, however, was still hugely dated, had mold all over the bathroom tile grouting, had an incredibly uncomfortable bed and was, at best, barely fit for purpose. In the morning at check out, the staff didn't even enquire how our stay had been. This is the worst hotel I have EVER stayed in, it is truly horrible and we had a very unpleasant stay.

Could have had more local info available in the room folder. Room folder's leather cover was very worn and tired looking.

The refurbished rooms are very nice plus the staff are pleasant and helpful in every way. Very nice breakfast.

Very clean. Beautiful grounds, impressive building, good breakfast. Annexe room though small had all that you hope for and well maintained, including Night Porter supervising.

Main building is lovely.

Whole place feels down market. Annex rooms very basic, feel dated and spartan. WiFi does not reach them so no business possible in the rooms. Breakfast a poor excuse for a meal given the stature of the location and building. However, they are chasing the Travelodge budget end of the market so have to expect that. Shame as it could be so much more.

Receptionist was excellent, upgrading me without asking and most helpful

The bar was a bit basic....no lemon or lime for my gin and tonic but a small moan!!

We were totally surprised with our room (or rather suite) with four poster bed and complete lounge suite. The room was comfortable and very quiet. We ate in Jasons Carvery and were astonished by the very generous proportions. Then enjoying 'Lite bites' in the lounge, found the generrous proportions again. The actual Chateau is beautifully furnished in very attractive grounds. Having said this, the bathroom was tired and would enjoy refurbishment.

The lift! Being on the top floor, the lift was important to us. Three times we had to take the staircase, which was very tiring. It was disappointing that the Managers on duty on one occasion, seemed more content to enjoy coffee rather than ensuring the lift was working.

We both love the chateau for its history where it is and the style of the building we all ways have a nice time when we go there the staff are really nice and we look faward to going back always

Lousia on reception welcomed us as if she had known us for years & made us feel welcome. Room 405 is fabulous. We had an excellent meal in the carvery & a wonderful, freshly cooked breakfast.

Basement room that would struggle to get 2 star. View from room 101 was a brick wall less than 2 feet from the window, dated decor. A door to the Leisure Centre which isn't built yet - a games room door which was locked and who knows whether there was anything good behind it
