A birthday card and a call from staff to make sure everything was o.k. He was delighted. Thank you
The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was brilliant and the chateau and grounds were really wonderful. It was excellent value for money and we aim to return before long.
The grounds and the Chateau look fantastic.
The room was small and didn't have a window that opened into the grounds. We were sent to the downstairs bar, so didn't know there was another bar until the next morning.
The food and staff were excellent.
The rooms were about a 8 minute walk from reception, at the back of the grounds. Very dark particularly as it was raining heavily.
The nicely refurbished room overlooking the lovely grounds. staff very attentive and food to a good standard. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return.
Nothing really to dislike. wifi could be better but it was ok in the room

Restaurant (Breakfast) Staff
The annex was getting a little tired and needs updating. Shower unit needs replacing and I felt a little like I was still in the 80's. Evening meal was a little "overpriced" and trying to be a bit too fancy. Well cooked though, so not really a complaint.
our stay was excellent.staff were more than helpful will certainly stay again.
Fantastic building although as often happens my room was in a more contemporary annexe some distance away from the main building. Not pleasant given the horrible weather the evening of my stay.
I was woken in the night to the sound of mice close to my bed. Not easy to get off again with the sound a tiny feet in my ears. Whatever had been in my room had emptied the bin and carried the contents into the bathroom! The bin liner in the bathroom was shredded. When I explained the event to the staff in reception I did not feel I was taken too seriously. "We're we in the bar last night" was one comment. This has left me feeling extremely disappointed with my stay in room 220 given that this was my first time at such a prestigious venue.
Music in the dining room
The breakfast was the best id had for a long time, served by great very attentive staff.
no lesuire or spa facilities on site
No leisure facilities.
Comfiest bed ever Clean and tidy Breakfast Lovely shower room
Very small room on 3rd floor of chateau
Location Views Food
The grounds and setting of the hotel was perfect. Although we were not in the main building the room was very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent and even though it was a Saturday we felt well looked after and not rushed .
There didn't seem to be anything that we did not like, apart from maybe the thinness of the walls in the bedroom.
Food was excellent best meal I have had in months! Great location and ambience for my partners birthday treat !
great location and nice hotel. Food was very good. Helpful staff.
Our room was not in the main hotel building, this means walking across the car park for breakfast. On my next visit I will insist on staying in the main hotel. If the hotel is full, then breakfast is not so good. We had issues at Sunday breakfast but on the Monday when the crowds had gone is was much better.
THE LOCATION IS BLOVELY
We liked the Chateau building itself and the setting.
The room was basic and I don't feel worth the £74 (without breakfast) we paid for it.
Very convenenient for the M5, good dinner, freshly cooked, and good restaurant service.
Slightly faded and felt like it had been downgraded - curtain in room broken, no tissues etc, reception gave me the wrong directions to my room (ie sent me up in the lift when I needed to go to a separate building).
Smiling,Professional staff. Compliments especially to the Dining room staff.
Bed much to firm and the duvet far to heavy. A lighter duvet and a spare blanket to be used if necessary would have been better.
Service in the restaurant
Impney estate is vast and the main hotel building is imposing
We stayed in the 'motel' area - Impney Court. Dated and freezing in the common areas
pretty much everything
commented to the reception that the carpet in my room could have been cleaner, there were a few stains here and there.
Really relaxing stay, room was clean and all everything that was needed was there, e.g tea making facilities, good TV, comfortable bed. We had a nice view over the beautiful manicured gardens. In all a great hotel which I'll be recommending to my friends.
