All staff were very helpful and polite.Would use this hotel again if price was right
Noisy awful room
The staff were nice, bed was to hard and the pillows were like laying your head on a stone.(too hard). rooms were clean. i would stay again if they sorted the bed problem out and the shower!!
could not get the power shower to work properly,as no water came out of itand maded a really lound noise. The mixer tap shower i got working but kept going hot and cold. was very noisy when we had the window open. the tv remote did not work either.
The hotel staff were polite, efficient & helpful. Breakfast was good and unrushed.
Street parking is very limited and costly.
Location is really convenient and price was reasonable.
Room backed on to bus depot so up at 6am after a late night and they've given up on the hotel - needs investment as nothing updated since the 1990's - got such huge potential so it's such as a shame. Choose a garden facing room!
The only downside is that the Bar area could do with a facelift and a permanent Bar person as we had to go looking for staff when we wanted a drink -This was of a Friday Evening !!!
Great location and lovely views even in winter.
Very dated, needs a makeover. Would have been good to be able to adjust the room temperature above 19℃ in November. Bathroom really needs an upgrade.
No Parking Facilities. Disturbed sleep by false fire alarm at 2:50am in the morning. The highest price I paid on my travels and the smallest TV screen in the room! The place needs an upgrade.
I was moved to a much better room without question and the staff member I spoke to was very helpful. The breakfast was good and the dining room staff were friendly.
The first room I was given was very poor. The shower didn't work properly and was difficult to turn off, the room was very dated, too hot and overall rather depressing. It would have been nice if all the reception staff had a friendly smile when greeting visitors, not all of them bothered. Unfortunately, everyone in the hotel was evacuated at 02.45 one morning due to a fire alarm being activated. I received no apology or reassurance from staff that it was safe to return to my room, it was another visitor who told me the alarm had been activated by a visitor smoking.
The size, facilities and comfort of the room.
The fire alarm going off at 3 am - and poor fire exit signage. I've traveled the world on business and always check the fire exits before making myself to comfortable in the room. Very poor signage here.
Room was clean abc comfortable
Heating was on full
The hotel location is excellent, close enough to walk to the sea, shops & restaurants. The staff are welcoming & helpful. The hotel is clean & fairly comfortable.
The hotel needs redecorating & updating. There was a fire alarm when we stayed which caused quite a bit of confusion & so it would help if the staff could wear their uniform jackets so that we could tell them apart from guests.
Great location; Comfortable beds; good breakfast; helpful staff
Blankets were rough; room in need of TLC
It was nice to have an option of a late checkout up to 6pm for an extra £20. Location is great. Staff are nice.
Far too expensive hotel. To pay on a weekday £97 for a room in a town like Worthing and its not even a modern hotel.... The bed was too small. Bathroom was falling apart.
Location is great bordering the sea front and a garden square. Also convenient for town centre. Well-cooked breakfast.
Decor is safe, boring and A touch old-fashioned.
Excellent friendly service. Very good position just off the sea front but easy walk into town. A little old fashioned in many ways, but this suits me and adds to the comfort. Nice lounges, too, to sit and rest one's feet or wait out the rain showers.
The breakfast and the good deal I got at the very last minute
Staff were plentiful and attentive.
Only one disabled bedroom in hotel.
Room 264 had wonderful view. Location the very best Staff in the main very attentive
Breakfasts very paltry, do you really need to charge for an extra rasher of bacon and extra sausage , Room clearly not finished, needed Fire Escape map, door stop in barthroom, bigger TV considering the size of the room.Uneven floors in passageway to room.
Arrived just before restaurant closed but staff quickly served me.
Right in the heart of Worthing next to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. Buses to all major places just around the corner.
Relaxed atmosphere and style
Position and hospitality good. Clean and welcoming. Breakfast good and service excellent.
A old property so no double glassing which made it noisy at night.
Location great, 1 minute walk to the beach and pier. Parking easy straight outside hotel. Staff very helpful, breakfast excellent.
Handy for town and seafront. Comfortable and well equipped. Average price for area and facilities.
Bit officious at check in. Noisy corridors at 1:30 am. But that's the ignorant guests not the hotels fault.
