Staff and location; The bed was comfortable; the bathroom clean.
Too noisy (doors banging and whole place trembling); Noise at night by uncivilised guests; Too old and stained carpets in the corridors.
Breakfeast and unstaffed resident bar!
The ambience of the hotel Good breakfast. Very helpful staff
Noisey guest at wedding reception shouting and screaming till early hours in street at main entrance below our room. Traffic warden booking us even though we had paid and displayed a parking voucher!
The room was far too hot.
Room 360 had a fabulous sea view. It was nicely decorated and had air conditioning.
Not the hotel's fault but the bar below was noisy in the evening. As it was summer people were outside. Not loud music but voices carrying.
It was close to where we needed to go and it had what we needed. Night manager was very helpful and professional
Too many staff with a foreign accent in a English hotel. Bathroom needed updating. Breakfast was good although more continental choice would have been nice
I liked the whole stay, breakfast great, staff were polite and lovely and clean rooms, will return for sure
confident helpful and courteous staff breakfast parking was no trouble
located next to bus depot
We liked the olde worlde feel of the hotel, the staff were lovely and they served a very nice breakfast. Although our room was small it had a lovely view of the gardens and sea.
Our room was on the small side
near beach and town centre
room overlooked bus depot. no car park.
Good location on the coast at Worthing. Staff was very friendly and the food was good. Clean room.
Parking was a bit of a headache.
Noise from bus staion at rear of hotel where our room was. When we told the reception about this we were told we should have paid for a better room.
Position and proximity of parking to walk anywhere in Worthing.
Our room overlooked the bus depot so poor view and quite busy whenever we were in the room. Very average breakfast...tired so probably cooked and waiting too long before serving.
Good location Okay room Nice breakfast
Breakfast was excellent and staff are always helpfull.
The hotel is looking very tired and carpets in the rooms look very old and need a good clean.
We were given an upgrade to a sea view which was beautiful. As pensioners if the rooms were a little less expensive we would stay there more often.
No cause to complain about anything,
Location, lovely views over looking the garden area and good sea view. Fairly clean and comfy rooms.
Really hot in the bedrooms... Couldn't have been helped though being the summer season and the big breakfast could have been ideally bigger with only one of each item. Not good for those who don't really like cereals. Other problem was parking facilities, hardly anywhere to park in the z zone area that was allocated for guests to park as that area has to be shared with other hotels opposite.
Service & lovely breakfast. Room good Overall good deal
Noisy at night in corridor
Food was great we had 3 breakfasts & 2 dinners which were excellant
No entertainment but it didnt spoil our stay
Room, position of hotel, friendly staff, price.
bathroom not as clean as it could have been and ironing board cover far too thin and diamond pattern was left on my garment from the metal ironing board!
On the beach, a short walk for food and drinks. Comfy bed.
Was told air conditioning was not working in our room and also not in any others. AC was a split system, so unlikely all had broken down at once. Not impressed with the story. Was directed to a lift, so brought in large bag. Found that there were also stairs to go down and up to get to our room. Would have packed things in smaller bag if I'd been told this ahead.
Comfortable clean room good breakfast.
Could hear every sound made by the people in the rooms round us.
Staff were very helpful .
The parking is not free and very difficult and been done for parking even I pay in the machine .
breakfast, the cleanliness and the room size.
everything was to my liking
The hotel has a good location which is probably why it still has bookings. The staff were helpful but you could tell they were under pressure. So well done to them for being professional.
The hotel is tired with old style fittings & well worn carpets. In our room the door handle fell off to the toilet at the slightest touch. The wifi was intermittent - more off than on. The air conditioning did not work on one of the hottest days of the year and engineers were not due for another 3 days! Surely, a large hotel would pay the premium to ensure they had 24hour call out for this sort of occurrence? Consequently, with no air con we opened the windows & the noise into the night with rowdy youngsters & traffic noise was considerable and enough to keep us awake into the small hours. The shower worked well but the noise it generated doing so almost shocked my husband out of the bath! This could be a fantastic hotel with its location & good staff but at the moment there is room for improvement.
