Lovely building and the old fashioned ambience of the hotel very welcome, not kept waiting at reception, plenty of staff around to answer questions, breakfast was excellent and decor in dining room was very nice. Excellent location. Air conditioning didn't work properly, therefore windows had to be kept open - the noise from the bus station at 5 a.m. kept us awake. Would definetly go for a garden facing room next time.

Convenient for shops, rail coast. Polite and helpful staff, all appeared well trained in their jobs. All areas were clean and smart in appearance. Good size room with view of Steyne gardens. Meals above average in quality Traffic noise from busy road - would benefit from double glazing. Breakfast quality good, but small helpings for English Breakfasts.

Staff helpful. Poor breakfast, vinegary poached eggs, half a tomato and a withered rasher of bacon. Baked beans cheap, tea and coffee poor.

I chose the Chatsworth Hotel for the location, availability but most of all because they accepted dogs. The hotel was very extravagant looking and had beautiful views. The staff were friendly and the stay was good value for money and very enjoyable. As we were only there overnight, we did not get a full picture of the facilities but were overall very happy. The breakfast was one of the biggest selections I have seen and was very well displayed. A lovely visit. The only negative point I can make was that the room, on the third floor, was exceptionally hot which meant we had to sleep with the window open and therefore it was a little noisy at times.

Very friendly staff, Good food. I was upgraded to a bigger room and had a lovely view as a bonus. Parking was a problem. Although I paid the hotel for a 24 hour street parking voucher , it was not brought to my attention that there was going to be no parking from 7.am on the one morning, and I received a ticket. I paid the fine as otherwise my carhire co would have debited my card Apparently there was a sign on the reception counter but with all the other signs it's difficult to notice. Guests could perhaps be informed when buying parking that they have to move the car before 7am instead of 9am as is usual if there is a change in parking hours. The bathroom in my room was frosted but no blind or curtain and the sun shone directly into it and made it extremely hot in the afternoon. Apart from this I was comfortable and I had a great stay and would definitely book again.

1. Location is great as its within 100 steps each of the Sea shores, the Worthing pier and the Worthing Town centre. Also has regular bus services available from nearby to Brighton and other close-by towns. 2. Being a declared eco friendly hotel, they reimbursed us (5 GBP per adult) for travelling by public transport. This policy is mentioned in their Hotel room books. One has to provide tickets as proof of travel. 1. English Breaksfast spread was not too good, though Continental breakfast was OK. 2. Room was cramped, barely having space for 2 single beds; Photos on website do not match with what one actually gets.

Everything, starting with the warm welcome that I received, a delightful room with a sea view, excellent three course dinner. To save time I ordered my breakfast by room service. It was delivered at exactly the time I asked for and it was probably the nicest breakfast I have been served in a hotel for many years - and I travel regularly for my work! Even the two young staff who delivered it, did so with warm friendly smiles - a lovely start to the day. I don't usually comment on hotels at which I stay, but I really think that the Chatsworth Hotel should be commended for a wonderful service. I can't wait to go back.

The staff were very friendly and efficient. The bedrooms were clean and spacious. Checking in and out was easy. Everything worked well. Parking was a bit of a problem, but this is to be expected with a hotel in the centre of a town.

The Chatsworth is in an excellent location very near the beach and pier. The hotel is bright and the rooms well lit. Our room was comfortable, clean and quite large enough. Unlike many hotels we have visited there was plenty of storage space for our clothes. All of the staff were welcoming and helpful. We found the large, airy dining room a pleasure to eat in and the food was excellent. The lounge bar is a nice place to retreat for a drink or snack lunch. We were concerned that parking might be difficult but in fact was no problem using the vouchers issed by the reception ( You may have to park a little distance away) Quite honestly nothing!

Were upgraded to a lovely big room with seaview. Shame we weren't staying for longer. Could get a drink in hotel when got back from concert. Breakfast was very nice too. The shower, although easy to work with good strong shower, was incredibly noisy. When I had had my shower thought I had left it on as I could still hear it then realised it was a shower from another room.

The room was well-equipped and spotlessly clean and looked out over the Stein garden. The staff were very efficient and friendly. I did in fact choose the one night purely because of price (for business purposes) but was pleasantly surprised at what I got for it. The hotel had more sophisticated facilities (E.G., large restaurant, room service) than I had expected and I would pay more (for a leisurely visit) and make a longer stay. I did not dine in but breakfast was excellent. No complaints at all. Parts of Worthing could do with a wash and brush- up but I work in Margate so who am I to speak?

The hotel is in an excellent position and the room we had was lovely with a sea view and a 4 poster bed. The room was clean with nice fluffy towels and a good selection of toiletries and drinks etc. and the staff were very friendly. There was a good choice at breakfast and again the staff were very attentive. The room was vey hot. We turned the radiators off when we arrived and opened the windows but it was still boiling so had to sleep with the windows open which meant the noise outside disturbed our sleep. When ordering the cooked breakfast selection although everything was cooked nicely we only received one small rasher of bacon which looked a little lost on the plate.

I have stayed at the hotel before and found it very pleasant. I particuarly like hte fact that it is dog friendly and have mentioned this to friends hwo reguarly go to the south coast. My sister and her husband are frequent stayers at the hotel as we have to visit our mother in Worthing. The restaurant was particularly good and well managed and the menu looked superb. Maybe light bar snacks in the evening. I could nto see much info on this apart from room service. DO you do gluten free breakfasts.?
