sea view I was staying as had work night out in hastings and didnt want to drive back to Kent no towels and went and had shower called reception 3 times and after 10 minutes had call back asking me to check drawers etc which really was accusing me of lying and I had already checked otherwise wouldnt have rung and requestes.

New young manager since last time we stayed was excellent! Very professional, friendly and courteous always. He could not have been more helpful. An definite asset to the staff since we last stayed. Unfortunately didn't get a sea view but understandably a busy weekend and first come first served.

Hotel is very handy for both beach and town. For a South coast hotel, it's very good value. Staff friendly and facilities basic but good. Good bathroom facilities and TV with Freeview. The window couldn't be locked shut as the handle was broken, so if somebody walked along the ledge/balcony outside, they could just pull the window open. As this was highly unlikely, it wasn't a big problem. Wi-fi was bad, but most pubs had it, so used them.

Spacious room and friendly staff. TV not working (no signal). Several guests complained about this. No telephone in the room so could not contact reception. Breakfast not included. The price of the room a bit expensive (£80 + £7 pp for breakfast) for a three star hotel is a bit over the top.

Comfy bed. Convenient location. Friendly reception No wi-fi in the room. Advertised as giving a discount on the parking, but this wasn't available. Full price for room is expensive.

the position on the sea front near the town centre is great. The bathroom was in need of refurbishment, the wifi had to be used in the reception and was very weak. Our double glazing was so moist inbetween the glass that we could not see the sea through it. Breakfast was not brilliant for £7 each. The indian restaurant, ie the hotel restaurant, was closed. The hotel could do with an overhaul.

Very cold, snowy, day but a lovely warm bedroom with a great sea view. Very friendly & helpful staff and excellent value for money. Nothing to dislike!!!!

Stunning views of the English channel. Friendly staff. Very cheap for a mid week stay. Extremely dated and poor decor. Bad lighting in the room and paint flaking off the ceiling.

I didn't stay there I went elsewhere. The bar/ ground floor dance area advertised was booked out for a private party, Indian restaurant was closed until February.... All a bit disappointing.
