Ability to park out front of hotel. No one was available at the front desk or responded when I rang the buzzer, when we checked out at 8:00 am. Rooms were also very small and needed updating. |

Friendly and efficient staff. Good breakfast. Nice warm room during a cold weekend in November. Only that the bottom of the net curtains were black, and bath was old and rough. everything else was fine. |

nice and helpful management and stuff; new and good decor and very clean shared shower/toilet in uncomfortable location to the room ; room small with big furnitures and dark colors that make it feel even smaller. |

We had a very enjoyable long weekend at the Chatsworth. Although it has seen better days we could not fault the service nor the cleanliness and the breakfasts were excellent. As for the Indian restaurant, it is the best Indian food we have had for a very long time - even in India itself! We would have preferred a seperate bar in which to have a quiet drink in the evenings. |

Staff were extremely friendly, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed and I was lucky enough to be given a room with a fabulous beach view. The location of the hotel is excellent with the train station only a 10 minute walk away. Not exactly 5 star but at 80GBP for a 2 night stay (inc. breakfast) this hotel represents excellent value for money. |

Reception staff were friendly and helpfull.the room was clean. It was small but good value. Excellent location overlooking the beach, provided you had a room at the front of course! But if not, still a good location for everything. |

The staff we pleasant but didn't seem to know much about the supposed parking arangements. The bed was however very good and the sheets etc well cared for and good quality. Bearing in mind the price it is worth considering as a place to stay but could do better with only a moderate amount of thought. The decor in our room was very dark and the room was also poorly lit which made it look dingy. There was also a fan or compressor somewhere near our room that made a really loud noise all night. The baked beans with the breakfast were cold both days. |

Excellent value for money - £130 for a twin room including full English breakfast - and great location right on the seafront. The room was basic but pleasant. The staff on duty were pleasant too. There was a lift. Just a small thing - there was no really cold running water in our room, but at least there was plenty of hot water. |

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The location is central to the town center and at the seafront. The bathroom had tiles missing and the ventilation fan did not work, the double glazed panel of the tiny window was full with condensation an moldy. The website was misleading regarding on site car parking, which actually cost £6 per day. You could not book seafront rooms on the website but it was not made clear you learned it only on arrival, when you had to pay extra for it. |

Handily placed for the town centre, and price, including breakfast, was reasonable. Stayed here before and breakfast staff were very friendly, but this time, they just seemed to be going through the motions. Room was facing the sea, overlooking the coastal road, and although not the hotel's fault, the traffic was very noisy at night. Bathroom functional but could do with a makeover. |

i liked the location and the fact that my mother and I had a sea view from the room. The hotel was tastefully decorated and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and it was a very good base for the shops, restaurants, beach, etc. The breakfast was lovely and had everything you could ask for and I would definitely stay here again. It think it was excellent value for money, and totally recommend it. The only small criticism I might add is that when we went down to breakfast, we were told to wait a while in the hotel lobby. I thought this was quite unusual, and can only assume that maybe they were short staffed that morning, as there were adequate tables free. |

The rooms are barely 1 star, Drab wallpaper peeling. 30 year old portable tv. We had a sea view but you couldnt see out of the double glazed windows because they were all misted up inside the glass |

Close to Town Centre, Nice Breakfast, but cannot make a decent cuppa tea After leaving the nice reception area to go to our room via the stairs you could not help but notice the drabb decor colour scheme and the threadbare! carpet on the stairs. In the the room (114) itself situated at the front of the hotel, the net curtains were filthy and the lime scaled bath along with the filthy black plug hole needs to be replaced,We understood there could be noise from ajacent late night venues at the rear of the hotel, we were at the front of the hotel and I could plainly hear repetative loud club music well into the early hours, god only knows how the residents at the rear slept, if at all. |

Hotel in a good location on the seafront and easy tgo walk to from the station. Room was clean and comfortable. The indian restaurant that is attached to the hotel (which doubles up as the breakfast room) was very good. I had a meal there on my last night and it was great. The shower was difficult to get to the right temperature (i.e. not cold) and my room was located at the back of the hotel above the kitchen and laundrette which was a bit noisy and obviously no sea view. But for £45 a night it was good value and would consider staying again if ever I'm back in Hastings. |

A very well situated, clean hotel at a budget price. The staff are pleasant and helpful and breakfast is generous. No bar and the hotel car park is tiny so parking in the nearby council park can add £6.00 to the daily rate. |

A clean and comfortable hotel with welcoming staff and good breakfast. Guests might wish to be aware that the restaurant serves predominantly Indian cuisine. |
