Chatton Park House  

We loved the very warm welcome, a chance to unwind with a cup of tea or coffee (or whatever) and a cake after our long drive. We also loved the very comfortable bedroom and large en suite with a power shower. My husband has become a B&B breakfast expert over the years and has decided the cooked breakfasts at Chatton House are the best ever, and I thought the crumpets were amazing. We also loved the beautiful views out every window. The security was excellent and we didn't feel like we were disturbing anyone if we happened to come in late from dinner. The house was spacious enough that we didn't feel like we were forced to socialise with other guests either in the lounge or breakfast room. The location was perfect for us--easy access to the A1 and the beautiful beaches just beyond, and easy access to the A697 and hillwalking in the Cheviots. I would highly recommend this Chatton House as a perfect destination B&B.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. From the moment we arrived to helping me clean my car of bird debris from the rainwater gutter. Now thats service.

Michelle and Paul were great hosts, very welcoming and keen to share their knowledge of the local area which was fantastic as we went to several places we would never have discovered otherwise. The breakfasts were fantastic. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Stayed in the lodge fabulous and great hosts. Superb breakfast.

Great hostess, thanks Michelle, beautiful country house,amazing breakfast, very comfortable bed, a guest entertainment library with books,music and films. Quality refreshments in the room and luxury toiletries.

In the evening we felt a little cold, however, it was march and particularly cold outside. We usually stay in hotels so the late check in and early checkout, whilst synonymous with B and B's was a little off putting.

The staff,the b&b was spotless,the food was yummy & plentyfull.the bedrooms very spacious.

Nothing to dislike.

The comfort and quietness, and service, was fantastic.

There was nothing we didn't like

Bed was unbelievably comfortable. There was a huge choice at breakfast that was beautifully laid out. The view was amazing in every direction and the lodge has it's own soothing soundtrack from a nearby stream.

Had to go home.

More than I would have expected to pay for a B&B but well worth it. a bit of luxury now and then is worth it. would reccomend it to anyone.5 Star it is.

Perfect in every way, lovely setting, splendid rooms, excellent breakfast .really nice and friendly hosts nothing too much trouble. Will recommend to friends and will def visit again.

The most luxurious bed & breakfast one could wish for

The peace and tranquillity was excellent. The breakfasts were brilliant and Michelle was very helpful and friendly.

It was very quiet and quite remote which was just what we wanted but it did mean that pubs and restaurants were a few miles away.

Everything, location, the welcome and especially the breakfast. Also the local knowledge of places to eat in the area.

The moment we arrived we were given a warm welcome and offered a tray of tea and cake in the large, luxurious sitting room. Throughout our stay our hosts, Paul and Michelle, couldn't have been more friendly. Our room was a delight, perfectly decorated, exceptinally well appointed, with daily treats provided.The breakfasts, eaten in the spacious dining room at our individual table, were the best we have ever tasted. We had a wonderful week and found Chatton Park a beautiful and most peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

everything from a warm welcome to a fantastic bedroom with television DVD player fridge you could not ask for anything more a superb breakfast on each day the house the gardens perfect close the the fabulous northumberland coast if you are looking for a short break in northumberland look no further

The service and treatment was impeccable. One was made to feel really at home, in such a lovely cosy place. The breakfast was very good, and the hosts were excellent. A definite place to revisit, although 2 nights would be better than one as that way you have an entire day to enjoy the place rather than check in in the evening, then leaving next morning, without really enjoying just relaxing around the place.

Chatton Park House is a set in lovely grounds, our room (Alnwick room) was superbly furnished, with a very comfy bed, and nice bathroom. Breakfast very good, and nicely presented. Hosts Paul and Michelle were also very welcoming. Lovely peaceful place to stay if that's what you are looking for.

Although a lovely house, we did find it a little to remote for us.

An excellent place to stay. An unusual combination of friendliness and efficiency with that touch of luxury.

There is nothing to dislike about Chatton Park House but if I could make an addition it would be to have a bath in the ensuite accomodation.
