Just 50 metres from Gyllyngvase Beach and 10 minutes’ walk from Falmouth centre, the Chellowdene guest house offers a full English breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Most rooms have sea views. Rooms at Chellowdene have simple, stylish decor. Some have en suite bathrooms and balconies overlooking Falmouth Bay. All rooms have flat-screen TVs with Freeview. Gyllyngvase Beach is a Blue Flag rated sandy beach. Falmouth seafront, Pendennis Castle and the Cornwall Maritime Museum are all within 1 mile of the Chellowdene bed and breakfast. Falmouth Town Railway Station is 5 minutes’ walk away. Many of Cornwall’s attractions are within easy driving distance. Truro town centre, the Royal Cornwall Museum and Trelissick Gardens are all within 25 minutes’ drive. Penzance, St Ives and Newquay are all less than an hour away. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, and could not do enough to insure you had a great stay. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Thenroom was very clean comfortable bed . Very pleasant owners The fact that I was placed in the middle of the room for my breakfast which being on my own made me rather uncomfortable. A side table would have been much better!

Accomodation very clean and of a high standard,looked like it has just been painted and new bathroom installed. Peaceful ensuring good nights sleep Wouldnt book room 6 again due to sloping walls which ! found difficult

Everything was spotless with a beutifully cooked breakfast if you wanted and plenty alternatives. Our baggage was taken upstairs and brought down which is very helpful if elderley. Very friendly and helpful

This guest house is spotlessly clean and everything in my room was shiny and polished. Duvet lovely quality and everything in the room worked. The proprietors are lovely and very helpful and although I did not have the full English breakfast the food was really good. I am coeliac, and gluten free bread was offered to me even though I hadn't pre ordered it. It makes such a difference when customer service is of this high standard. Really, really good. Parking a bit tight, but the owners are very happy to move cars for you.

Chellowdene was very clean and modern. Staff were very friendly. The breakfasts were very good. Our room had a balcony and we had a good seaview. It is close to the harbour and within walking distance to the local shops. We would definitely stay there again and recommend the Chellowdene. Parking facilities are not ideal.

Friendly hosts,Very clean throughout,excellent breakfast,well located for visiting other places of interest. Restricted parking availability but we knew that before booking so no complaints there as there is nearby alternative parking.

Good friendly, helpful and polite owners who showed a genuine interest in your wellbeing. Nothing appeared to be a problem and we especially liked our cream eggs in our glasses on Easter Sunday. Well done to both Troy and Julie! The wifi reception in our room was very poor to non existent. I would strongly suggest upgrading your router/ etc as many people could find this annoying especially as it was promoted on the website.
