Welcoming environment. Everything was impeccably clean. Good views from the windows of the distant sea. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Good ensuite bathroom with efficient shower..

The room was a little too snug for general comfort but as we were there for only one night it didn't matter.I Would have preferred the washbasin to have been inside the bathroom itself rather than in the room.

Excellent, modern, comfortable rooms with everything you needed. We checked in late but the landlady was very helpful and left the key in a secure place for us. Lovely full English breakfast in the morning and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend!

This an immaculate and friendly place to stay - totally relaxing, a lovely breakfast (scrambled eggs were amazing!). Quiet location near to the beach and walking distance to the town centre - perfect weekend break, just wish we could have stayed longer.

Only the shower which wasn't powerful and was only hand held.

Julie and Troy were friendly and welcoming. The room was small but there was only me and had everything I needed - tea/coffee, tv, en- suite. Breakfast was good and had overlooking the sea. The parking is tight but adequate. I would thoroughly recommend Chellowdene.

Reallyenjoyed the welcome and family warmth of the staff and owners, the place was beautifully presented with a high standard of cleanliness and very tasteful decor, in comparison to most small hotels with their floral and heavily busy wallpapers, this was a breath of fresh air and chic.For the price of my stay this is one of the best nights accomodation I have had. Many thanks, I will be coming again.

We decided to stay at chellowdene as were going to a christmas party and didnt want the bother of going home late or getting taxis, the owners Troy and Julie made us so welcome and nothing was to much trouble, we stayed in room 3 a very spacious room with en-suite shower room and spotlessly clean it had every thing we needed even a sea view,the breakfast was lovely and there was loads to choose from I realy liked the freshly made breakfast bars and crossants and the full english breakfast filled you up for the day. We will deffinatly go back to Chellowdene again soon.
