the staff, cleanliness and proximity. Easy to walk to the river
our room was on the ground floor at the front which meant noisy traffic and the front door and hallway noise was disturbing
Room in basement was a little dark
Great place to stay, clean and tidy well presented room and helpfull friendly staff.
Customer service that the staff delivered.
There was no coffee/tea facilities in the room.
Friendly and very helpful reception staff. Off street parking. Great nights sleep.
No hot drink making facilities. Only one pillow each. Tiny en suite bathroom.
i liked the location , friendly staff, price of rooms, good facilities for money, good bus and train access, 2 mins walk from hotel, train and bus stop. 20 mins bus ride to london eye
Staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect location to visit Brixton Academy. Room was clean and comfortable.
It was too warm to close the window so traffic noise kept me awake.
Ideal location for us as family living close to guest house. Staff were all very polite.
We had a standard room but it was basic at best no tea/coffee provided not even a plastic cup for a drink of water. This was a new room in an extension but very poor design......maze of corridors.
This was so handy and great value basic accommodation. But if you just need a place to sleep near central London this is perfect. Breakfast voucher for nearby cafe was good value. Bus stop across the road.
Walls were a little thin so the people next door seemed quite loud late at night. Not much space for clothes but if it's a short stay it's not such a problem.
Rooms were a good size. Staff were friendly.
Lack of breakfast options makes for a difficult time with young children. Rooms had very few comforts, nowhere to hang wet towels for example. The weather was very warm and the room got really hot, but sleeping with a window open made for too much noise from the street outside.
Kettle with tea and coffee facilities with biscuits, topped up daily. Daily clean towels and maid service. Family room for 4 people had 2 separate bedrooms with own toilet and shower.
No mirror in bedrooms to style hair when drying/straightening.
location staff transportation clean badroom big room
Room was good, comfortable, and clean. A bit far from the centre but easy to travel by bus.
Make sure to buy day ticket for the whole trip whenever you can at a underground station or prepare an oyster card because there is no place to a buy ticket except overground train tickets. You can top-up oyster card at mini-mart nearby.
Adequate facilities, helpful staff, good location for getting into central London.
Noisy at night, bed somewhat uncomfortable.
Location, comfort, spotless room (3) and good coffee/tea facilities, plus McDonald's next door if your thing. Public transport no problem.
Parking would be a issue mon/fri and costly, be warned.
Location was easy to Central London
Beds were really uncomfortable. Felt like sleeping on wood. Only one pillow each was provided which may as well have been filled with cement. Duvet was dirty, not even sure they were ever changed. Curtains did nothing. Windows could be opened but so could the security barriers on the outside of them. Felt very vulnerable as any noise from outside startled us. It was super noisy. Might have can offer guests but there was lots of creaking and pipe banging noises. No facilities were offered. No drinks making or cups for water or shampoo only some horrible smelling soap on the sink. Couldnt Trust The tap water to be drinkable as it was always a little bit warmer than cold.
- Very professional staff - Orderly and timely arrangements from booking to airport pick/drop to check-in/out. - The guest house's location is very convenient to places I had to go/visit.
- The bed and pillows are too soft. - The room tends to be very warm specifically during summer; there is no fan.
The room wasn't very clean. It needs to be painted. It's far from town. You have to take a bus and a tube to get most places.
The location was perfect for my interview. Bus and train nearby. McDonalds is right next to thus hotel. Staff were very friendly and room was comfortable. Nothing spectacular though. For the price 100% happy.
The breakfast voucher. It wasn't a great breakfast and there was soo much on my plate I only ate about a quarter of it. Less tastier food would be my suggestion.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They let us check in even before reception was open. The room was spacious and newly renovated. It came equipped with a electric kettle, coffee and tea, and biscuits, which were restocked daily. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but it's a 10-minute walk to several Tube stations and nearby many restaurants and supermarkets.
We were unlucky to be in London when it was very hot. We knew the room wouldn't have air conditioning; however, our room was in the basement and was visible from the street, so we couldn't keep our window open at night. The staff was extremely accommodating and provided us with a fan.
The staff were very friendly and got us checked in very quickly. There was a fan in the room.
Room was on the top floor. Room was like an furnace. It didn't help that the heating was on in the middle of a hot summer. The bed was too low and too soft. Hardly got any sleep due to bed and heat of the room. The hotel is very difficult to get to. You need to get two types of trains and walk for a bit just to get there.
Great location - We were going to the Carling Calling festival, so the 15 minute walk to the venue was great.
Staff were very helpfull. Excellent value for the price!!
Lovely reception staff, very friendly & helpful. Good location, excellent public transport links nearby, & fairly secure.
Bed was too low, bathroom so tiny you could hardly get in, pipes were very noisy, no tooth mug so nothing to drink out of, curtains falling down so could not be drawn.
Reasonable price. Not too far from nice area Clapham. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good english breakfast nearby.
Takes a while from the center to get there. Uncomfortable bed. Room very basic.
