Chelsea Guest House  

If you are looking for a clean room, helpful staff, and exceptional value, this is the place. You are not in the center of London, you need to take the Rail or, with a walk, the Underground. The rooms are simply appointed, but, in my experience bigger than anything you will get in the middle of things. My room was in the back and was very quiet. This is a residential area that is not upscale, but quiet and I had no problems at all. I intend to be back.

This was the second time we stayed at Chelsea Guest House and I'm happy to say that unlike last time both the room and the staff were great!!!

The hotel is worth value for money. Clean and tidy. The rooms were cleaned every day.

Maybe the position and the price

The Chelsea Guest house was adequate for what we required. Facilities were as they were and for the cost they provided what we required a room to sleep in .

The staff was very friendly, helpfull, efficient. The room had comfortable beds and good shower and was really clean. Good bus connections into the city center.

For breakfast you get vouchers for the cafés next door. We had english breakfast - or components of it - every morning. Continental breakfast as an option would be nice. The quality of the food and the service was good, though.

I likes how there was an easy bus route from the hotel straight to Trafalgar Square as this provided an easy route to main attractions of London. The room was nice and clean with a lovely bathroom and plenty of storage space and it was a light and airy room. I liked the fact their was a tv and the hotel catered for my late check out needs as much as thry could for which I was very greatful. The heating in the room was very good also which was especially nice on a rainy day.

The road outside was quite noisy however this couldn't be avoided. We were woken up during our stay by building work upstairs which, had we been planning on a lie-in, would have spoilt the morning somewhat. Finally, I would have liked a full length mirror in the bedroom .

The guest house was fine and what we expected. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was budget accomodation (by London standards) so we didn't expect too much but one thing that would have been useful was tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms (even if a small supplement was payable.

very close to waterloo train station and clapham junction. very near MCdonalds open 24 hours.

there is no shampoo in bathroom, no slippers on wc. windos not close properly.

convenient for my objectives

Hotel fine, but was disturbed each night until the early hours by cars being revved loudly in a tuning garage behind the hotel. Then coming and going onto the street outside where they were driven loudly and at speed infront of the hotel

Friendly staff and clean room with good transport connections into town

I had a room next to the entry door. People came in all night and I didn't get much sleep. I have not highlighted this though and I am sure this could have been addressed. Another thing was that the next morning, they started at 7am to hover the floor carelessly banging their hover against my room door.
