Perhaps the hardest bed I've slept in for years, but I adjusted to it. They were renovating, which was noisy but bearable. In exchange I had a discount rate.
It was a fairly basic hotel, but I didn't need more. Close to Earl's Court Tube Station and King's Road. I use a mobility scooter, and I got around quite easily. They made me a ramp, so I could bring it inside easily!
Nothing, for the price my expectations where exceeded.
Price and location
The rooms were grubby. Tthere was a stain on the bed throw which I wont go into. The bed itself however was clean, made and really comfy. Note it was two twins pushed together rather than an actual double, but it meant more room so that didn't bother me. The bathroom and room itself was clean but there was a huge damp stain on the wall that just made it look quite dirty. Note that I paid £65 for the 'double' room for a Saturday for one night so based on the price you really do get what you pay for. It is worth it for the price.
The location was brilliant for the price, right in earls court so a short tube trip to all main tourist points. The breakfast was basic but what we needed - cereal and toast with preserves, along with filtered coffee. On a Sunday breakfast was served between 8 and 10 which was good as I needed the lie in after all the walking!!! Deffo recommend for a cheap bed for the night, in an ideal location.
I liked the backyard
The breakfast was not ready So we had to leave without it the bathroom was tiny
the works going on
Everything The receptionists are great The room very comfortable Location is excellent
Our room was not heated and very cold when we arrived the first night (in February). There was however a heater that we turned on and then it was fine. Walls are pretty thin, so it's a bit noisy.
Location is good, close to the tube/bus and in a nice area with pubs around. Easy to reach the center and other sights. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
Room 15 only had a cold shower available.
The room and staff were 1 st class.
the bathroom was really small,
room was big enough good breakfast kind and helpful staff
WiFi signal was weak on the 2nd floor.
Close to tube. Clean and comfortable. Boris bikes close by. Easy access to central London. Bars and restaurants close.
The breakfast was very limited and had no variety.
The location as nice as it was close to the underground and not too far from the airport. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I will certainly use the the hotel next time.
I do not like to sleep with blankets.
A big comfortable double bed and an suite bathroom, with a powerful and hot shower. Free WiFi and a microwave in the kitchen to heat my evening meal, which I had purchased in the nearby M&S. 5 minutes walk from Earls Court and West Brompton stations.
- High price for the provision of this "hotel" = 70EUR -Bedding catastrophic unless you like stained ressorts.draps spotted -windows that did not close in the room (noise unbearable street). Direct view wall squatted by pigeons. Room not ready on arrival (14.00 although ..) overheated place !!!!!! soiled -carpette damaged and dirty -walls Then the breakfast: easy, don t imagine anything british, 2 slices of toast and a socks juice as coffee. Well, not much to learn from this institution that does not deserve the title of hotel.
quiet nothing situation and wifi
Building in need of a lot of decoration which makes the hotel feel run down.
Jelpa made us very welcome when we arrived, room was clean and warm. Value for money but no extra touches.
Our room had practically no place to put things (on a surface). Our luggage had to stay on the floor all the time we were there. There was a door to a porch/patio which was locked. If the back yard and patio area were cleaned up, it would be lovely. The room was very hot until we asked for some way to turn down the heat. This was late December.
Location--close to Underground. Lots of restaurants in the area. Bathroom was good. We don't require much. The breakfast room is really pretty with leaded glass windows. Staff was always pleasant. It's not the Hilton or the Ritz, but in the US we stay at Motel 6, so we are not used to great luxury.
The breakfast was poor consisting of just toast , cereal and coffee. Had to ask for tea but was only allowed 1 small cup. The window was broken and the hotel was in poor condition and reflected in price
The hotel was easy to find great location and friendly staff , the room we had B2 was newly decorated and the bathroom was very nice
The room was very shabby. The pillows should be thrown out. I almost went out and bought my own!
The location is good. There is a limited breakfast.
There was not enough sockets in the room. Only one twin socket. Decor in need of paint. Noisy at mid night for 2 hrs as i think people residing were not paying guests. Breakfast was cereal & toast & not very good.
Staff were very polite, friendly & helpfull. Room was of good size & shower was great. Location spot on for tube & Stamford Bridge
Could of had a mirror that was near a plug in the bedroom
Location and friendly staff
Very small rooms No parking car facilities
I didn't get to the hotel until 2 a.m. and needed to get some sleep during the day. Unfortunately they were drilling. My situation was probably unique, but I still would have liked to get some sleep. I couldn't get the heat to turn on in the bedroom the first night, and there was no heater in the bathroom. I didn't like the pigeons roosting in the bathroom window. The breakfast was extremely minimal.
The staff was very friendly. The hotel was very close to public transportation and there were quite a number of restaurants nearby. The hotel also provided an adapter in the room. This was very convenient because I often forget to bring a British adapter with me.
- rather poor continental breakfast (although we didn't expect much) - no change of towels for 7 days, at the end of our stay we were brought one extra towel, that's all
- great location, near to Earl's Court tube station - nice neighbourhood, a lot of shops, coffeeshops, cafes etc. - 24h reception - nice staff, helped us print our boarding passes as we left, let us use the microwave in the kitchen - wifi worked even in the room even though it should have only worked in the lobby - teakettle in the room
The curtains in G1.
The TV,the en-suite facilities the proximity to the C1 bus stop,Redcliffe Gardens.
Beds weren't very comfy Furniture was broken Bedroom walls thin - could hear neighbours. Street noise was also loud.
