Location is good. Very nice people.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing, but there are plenty coffeeshops around where you can get a good breakfast
Location to tube station and safe area.
Shower leaked. Couldn't use shower in the morning as water was scalding and would not cool down. Smoke alarm in bedroom covered with plastic so it was unsafe.
This is a clean inexpensive bed for the night, friendly helpful staff. It is convenient to the tube, only 5 mins walk away. I would stay there again.
Would need modernised but then it is only a 2 star
Close to Chelsea f.c which was good as we were going to a match
Myself and 2 sons were put into a basement room. The room was very cramped and stuffy .The shower was very dirty with mould round it overall very disappointed don't know what other rooms are like but wouldn't recommend this one
The outward appearance of the B & B was lovely. Excellent location, close to train stations , shops and Restaurants and cafes. We even were able to walk to buckingham palace.
The level of cleanliness was poor and it looked like they did the basics. We had a group of students who came into the nearby rooms on our second nite for the rest of our stay and were incredibly noisy running from room to room , slamming doors, calling out, to the point where we told them to be quiet , reported them to the receptionist staff, but without much improvement. So disappointing for us, and spoilt our stay.
location and cost - staff was very helpful and responsive
rooms were a little cramped but provided the basic comforts
Location and price
Bedroom wasn't so much tired as exhausted! Dirty carpet, wardrobe falling to bits. Needs a good overhaul throughout.
The cost was very reasonable with friendly and helpful staff.
Maybe there could be overhead lights by the bed?
Staff in reception.
Two mornings there was no water in the shower on third flour, where we had a room.
Unfortunately there wasn't much to like about this hotel. There was no hot water so were unable to have a shower. When we reported it that night they appeared not to be interested. When we enquired again the following morning for the 2nd time, we were told there wouldn't be any hot water until the evening at the earliest....24 Hrs after we reported it. We left without having a shower. We combined our business trip with a hospital appointment which required an examination, no shower....nice. On top of this there was a lot of damp in the room the shower needed a lot to be desired even though we couldn't have one and our toast was served on a saucer didn't see a plate at all. So won't be returning or recommending.
New manager aware of the failings, very nice helpful chap.
Scruffy, mouse trap in bedroom, scalding hot water, brick wall as a view from our basement bedroom. No bedside lights.
The man on reception was really friendly and it's very close to Earl's Court station with lots of pubs and restaurants nearby.
Tiny bit 'scruffy'. Could do with new carpets etc as they looked quite old.
location, room okay size for London standards. Had an ensuite.
Unfortunately there were a bunch of very noisy school kids stay in the rooms around us. We should really have been moved if they knew we were going to be so close.
Next time I'm in London I will definitely use here. Was close to where I needed to go
1. Everything 2. The person who sits on the reception DOESN'T have a clue where his hotel is located. 3. I would advice you to goto PUBLIC toilets if you are going to this hotel. As there toilets are even worse (ENTIRELY black in the shower area, broken mirror pane, flush not working) 4. I don't think I can write more about it. I would advice you to think before you go to this place and not go with their LOVELY pictures of their hotel
poor brakfast and wifi not in my room
breakfast was pretty good! :)
The room carpet was not so clean.
Loved our room overlooking the park. We didn't expect much with the price being low. But it was the perfect location for us and clean.
breakfast but it was not so bad
Poor Wi Fi, breakfast was disgusting two pieces of toast. Poor cleanliness. Everything definitely needs improvement.
Staff were incredibly unfriendly.I would never even expect that attitude towards my dog! The shower felt like it was outside with a cold breeze constant! Room was freezing and although I asked for the heating on it never happened. Parking cost an additional £15 but it was just on street and wasnt safe.Never git to eat the breakfast as staff didnt turn up and reception staff didnt do anything and just said 'it's only bread and butter anyway'.This was no consolation to a pregnant woman who had paid for breakfast.Room unclean and unsafe with loose wires, no lamp and mould and cracks in walls.
Old and dingy
Excellent location; good monetary value.
Efficient reception staff. Friendly breakfast staff. Convenient to tube station. Plenty of good restaurants of various ethnicities and prices of meals, especially Italian - Benito. Good area. Comfortable bed.
Stair carpet and bedroom carpet very stained, in obvious need of immediate shampoo. Stained toilet bowl. No lift, making carrying suitcase to second floor rather challenging. More milk needed for bedroom teas/coffees. No biscuits. Bed much too large for size of room 21.
