It was ideal as it was close to our house, but we just wanted to get away somewhere close. The main reason in staying at a hotel is because I have not been able to get much sleep over the past 2 weeks (due to work) and so we went to a hotel to have a good sleep and a long lie in as well. We had a Staff member repeatedly knock on our door at 08:00 until it woke me up and I had to answer. The staff member wanted to see what time I would be leaving??!! I said around 10:30 and then an hour later (09:00) she knocked on the door again and asked the same question. I was not impressed again and fairly fuming as it had fundamentally ruined my weekend and whole purpose in going there. I am not stupid and I know when check out time is, and even if I went over, I would care about paying additional charges. I will not be recommending this because of this, unless I received an apology or something else.

Not many hotels think about putting a big bottle of water by the bed, and a spare toothbrush and paste in the room, you did! Very nice touch, better than a silly chocolate on the bed!!

This time was our third time staying at Copthorne Chelsea Hotel and still felt satisfaction to the services and facilities. Location is perfect, not too far away and also not to close from underground station, safe and the staffs were excellent.

I liked the location for its access to tubes & buses to the areas that I wanted to visit. There is also an aura about being at Chelsea fc.

The hotel seemed bright and welcoming from the outside and the concierge service was excellent, I.E. they were able to get taxis quickly. However the washbasin was cracked, the carpet was stained and the remote control had a button missing. Considering I paid mor than £150 per night for my room, it definitely wasn;t good value. Room service menu was good the food arrived promptly and was hot and delicious. The restaurant breakfast was poor. The cooked food was not hot, the toast was limp and the pastries stale - definitley poor value at nearly £20. I would not stay here again even though the manager has offerred me a £50 refund. Poor value for money, terrible breakfast, stained carpet, cracked washbasin, button on remote control missing. When I arrived I was told that there was only sky sports available on the tv, thankfully this was not true!

We attended the football match whilst there so it was convenient allround we would liked to be advised by Booking.com that there was no parking available on match days other than that we enjoyed our stay.

I booked the millenium hotel as a christmas present for my husband as I had also bought a package to the chelsea football match the following day. The location was excellent. The hotel room was excellent, and the staff were also helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served in the Copthorne hotel which was just a short walk across the road. The food was great as was the service. The only downside I found was the parking, although we did park at the hotel and were given a discounted rate, we were told that we had to leave by 11am. I had phoned the hotel about a month previous to to check on the parking facilities and was told that we could stay no longer than this as we had not booked the following night, but on arrival I asked the concierge who told me that I could have pre-booked up to 3 days before hand as there were spaces then!! They also close the Fulham road off an hour and a half before a football match, but we parked just down the road at the tube station which was 5 minute walk away from the football ground, but all in all an excellent stay.

The location and can-do attitude of most of the staff. The Inexperience from some of the reception desk staff and one was a bit 'short' with me. Difference between a $100-150 a night and a $300-400 a night maybe!?

Despite the fact that the hotel was a little outside "shopping" London it was easy to access with Taxi's and busses. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is Restaurant’s, Pub's and a few convenience stores in the area around the hotel.

Quiet For £138 I would think breakfast should be included. £10 to service a room and they can't include a piece of toast and a cup of tea!! In the north of England I can get a fantastic room with a 3 course dinner and a full fantastic breakfast for £80. London is such a rip off.

The service was excellent from the beginning to the end of our visit. When we arrived there was a problem with our booking. The receptionist sorted it out without making it a big deal and remained calm and friendly. Would definately stay again. Very convienent for a visit to London. Car parking was extremely useful and its proximity to the underground made travelling very easy.

Very good place to relax and rest after busy day. Staff was very good in ensuring all maintanance and housekeeping duties were carried out when one was not in the room. Also very helpful concierge service. Great location - reflected in price :). Slightly expensive though location explains a lot :)
