Millennium & Copthorne Hotels at Chelsea Football Club  

It was ideal as it was close to our house, but we just wanted to get away somewhere close.

The main reason in staying at a hotel is because I have not been able to get much sleep over the past 2 weeks (due to work) and so we went to a hotel to have a good sleep and a long lie in as well. We had a Staff member repeatedly knock on our door at 08:00 until it woke me up and I had to answer. The staff member wanted to see what time I would be leaving??!! I said around 10:30 and then an hour later (09:00) she knocked on the door again and asked the same question. I was not impressed again and fairly fuming as it had fundamentally ruined my weekend and whole purpose in going there. I am not stupid and I know when check out time is, and even if I went over, I would care about paying additional charges. I will not be recommending this because of this, unless I received an apology or something else.

Poor toilet plumbing.

I liked the location for its access to tubes & buses to the areas that I wanted to visit. There is also an aura about being at Chelsea fc.

The hotel seemed bright and welcoming from the outside and the concierge service was excellent, I.E. they were able to get taxis quickly. However the washbasin was cracked, the carpet was stained and the remote control had a button missing. Considering I paid mor than £150 per night for my room, it definitely wasn;t good value. Room service menu was good the food arrived promptly and was hot and delicious. The restaurant breakfast was poor. The cooked food was not hot, the toast was limp and the pastries stale - definitley poor value at nearly £20. I would not stay here again even though the manager has offerred me a £50 refund.

Poor value for money, terrible breakfast, stained carpet, cracked washbasin, button on remote control missing. When I arrived I was told that there was only sky sports available on the tv, thankfully this was not true!

I found teh room lacking for teh price I paid. The hairdryer broke & the towel rail came away from the wall. Not impressed

We attended the football match whilst there so it was convenient allround we would liked to be advised by Booking.com that there was no parking available on match days other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Groups of people smoking right outside main entrance, disgusting! 1St room: Tired furnishings and wallpaper in room Stains on quiltcover and turned inside-out (two different rooms!!) Stains on sofa Desk drawer falling apart - loose screw on floor cut my foot, bleeding!! Fan in bathroom not working Shower leaking sideways from tap end over toilet and floor! Air-con not heating, only cold air - room very cold night & morning 2nd room: Quiltcover turned inside-out, again! Wash basin blocked, emptied incredibly slowly, Very noisy near elevator (quiet room on high floor requested)- little sleep!!

The hotel is very elegant and quiet, the staff is very friendly

Despite the fact that the hotel was a little outside "shopping" London it was easy to access with Taxi's and busses. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is Restaurant’s, Pub's and a few convenience stores in the area around the hotel.

The location was perfect for attending the football at Stamford Bridge & is quite close to the major shopping areas in London.

The service was excellent from the beginning to the end of our visit. When we arrived there was a problem with our booking. The receptionist sorted it out without making it a big deal and remained calm and friendly. Would definately stay again. Very convienent for a visit to London. Car parking was extremely useful and its proximity to the underground made travelling very easy.

Location and setting we`re excellent, and the Hotel was very comfortable and relaxing to stay at.

Classic very standard hotel, good price solution.

Tv was not working and they were not able to repair it on saturday evening. Not very good position to see london, close to tube station but a little bit to far from everyhing. I will not be back.-
