Cheltenham Regency Hotel  

Pleasant staff, comfortable and good value. We did not eat at the hotel except for breakfast. We were attending a friends celebration. The hotel served our purpose of a comfortable bed and close to the celebration location.

Considering the country location we were surprised at the traffic noise from the m5. The bathroom fan wasnot working correctly an had a high pitched whining noise, much louder than normal fans

Very relaxed surroundings. Very good food and bar facilities...Promote Keith to Hotel Manager!

If anything I would say that there was not a strict divide between hotel functions and residents bar which was a bit enoying at times..

We have just spent Easter weekend 2012. I give the Regency hotel 10 out 10. Clean comfortable bed clean all in hotel and staff friendly. Food was excellant close to all amenities would come again and recomend,

Good service, clean rooms.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was spotless. We were there for the Cheltenham Festival and they had shuttles buses sorted for the races which is a nice touch.

Only issue was the breakfast service was very slow and unorganised but nothing major and we were there for their busiest week of the year. Overall very good.

How can we describe it? Well this is the second time me and my partner have been here and the staff is absolutely fantastic. The food is great and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. there is nothing bad to say about this hotel. However it might be a little pricey but its well worth it! Clive Stewart & Ruth Cammock

We stayed at the Cheltenham Regency Hotel to break our journey down to Devon and were very pleasantly surprised - going to a new place you are never sure what to expect...But we were not disappointed - the room was convenient and we had our evening meal in the Restaurant and again, we were very impressed...The young man who looked after us was very obliging and pleasant and the young girl who served us with Breakfast was also a very sweet girl, and obliging...We are in Business ourselves and notice things like Customer Service etc., having had our own Shops...A Very enjoyable overnight stop and we would have no hesitation in stopping 'mid-stream' with you again.

The location

Friendly, efficient and convivial staff in all areas, and the food at both dinner and at breakfast was at the upper end of expectations.

Stayed for a weekend break and had a lovely time, can't fault the hotel at all. The rooms were spacious clean and relaxing. The service of staff was very helpful from reception to the restaurant. The breakfast exelled my expectation and was delicious!!! The hotel was central to all facilities around the town and close enough to the motorway for easy access. Would definitely stay again!!! Well done to the regency and there staff!!

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and the hotel is about 10 minute drive into the centre of Cheltenham. Plenty of free parking at hotel and we had an room upgrade which was unexpected (and the room was superb -the best hotel room we have ever had!). The evening meal and breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and pleasant. We will definitely be going back to stay at this hotel.
