Consistently high quality of food, accommodation and service without ostentation. Excellent value for money and ideally situated for the Race Course, which is also an event venue. The Apartments (our room) was 300m from the hotel where we had breakfast. Those with mobility difficulties should ensure they are in the hotel itself.

Room was large and very comfortable and the location was superb. Cooked breakfast was excellent but slow, the buffet table was minimal probably because of the limited space.

The Hotel staff were very friendly, efficient and extremely professional. The Hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, with the room being very spacious and airy. The hotel location was first class, in a residential street attached to a beautiful park. It was also well positioned for the Cheltenham Racecourse and the centre of Cheltenham itself. The breakfast was well cooked, well presented and plentiful. All this for a very reasonable price!

Threre was no adjacent restaurant, as advertised on the website. We had to walk some distance on a freezing cold night and eat in a cold restaurant, where the food was good. The plumbing in the bathroom needs attention. We could not use the shower because we are unable to climb out of a bathtub. The staff were helpful and attentive. Some of this should have gone under 'complaints'

The staff were really friendly and even upgraded me and my partner to the honey moon sweet for no extra charge. It is situated next to the shops and is easy to get to. The reason for my stay was for my partners birthday who had a enjoyable stay. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome I strongly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. Using booking.com is also a bonus as they do not add booking fees like other websites do. In conclusion a highly satisfied customer thank you to all who made our stay as lovely as it was. The only thing I could suggest was that breakfast was for a short period of time and feel that if the breakfast was open for longer than I could of made full use of it, however it finished at 10am and being a young couple maybe if it was open till 11am we could of got our lazy selfs up to indulge on the free breakfast, as it smelt amazing but maybe this is a personal thing.

The location is good for the city centre and free parking so close to the centre is a real bonus. The cooked breakfast was good but the selection of cereals, etc was limited. Bedroom decoration is bland and unappealing. Not a cosy environment and somewhere you look forward to returning to. Despite it being winter, the heating in our bedroom was timed to go off in mid-evening. On both nights we stayed, we had to ask for the heating to be left on until 11.00pm. One of the people on reception (female) didn't even acknowledge us.

“We were very happy with our choice of this hotel. It is in a fairly quiet area, but an easy walk to Cheltenham town center (less than a mile) and the main bus stop (about a mile). The rooms were very clean and the owners were just wonderful. Friendly and helpful, as was the rest of the staff. They made us feel welcome and at home. We were served hot breakfast each morning. There is a restaurant with both a pub menu and formal menu (and full bar) - the options are varied and the food was fabulous. We had our 4 year old with us and they were great in accommodating special food requests for her. She begged to eat dinner there every night. Our family suite actually had a separate room for her, which was a nice surprise. We were there two weeks and had a great experience. ” Mikal, Jacksonville |
