Much better atmosphere the following day. Our bathroom was very nice. Pleasant atmosphere during breakfast and the staff were very accommodating. We received an appolgy for the let down the night before from the poor member of staff who had to manage the hotel single handedly the night before (not his fault, I might add). My sister was reasonably satisfied with her single room. Unfortunately our stay clashed with a staffing problem. We returned from a show in the town looking forward to a drink in the bar. The wine had ran out (despite the fact the hotel was practically empty), no crisps or snacks. The bar closed at 12.30 p.m. despite being advertised as 24 hour - again due to a staffing problem. so we were packed off to bed - not a great end to a brilliant night. The twin room we stayed in was woefully too small - I really felt they had packed in as many beds as possible rather than looked at the quality of the room. The mattress on one bed was extremely poor quality and only one of the beds had a bedside table. The floorboards creaked very loudly - which I felt would annoy other guests. |

Good hotel, good breakfast, value for money Only problem was the overpowering heat in the hotel. Even with heating off in our room and window wide open we still needed a fan on all night. It was unbearable. |

room was clean, night porter couldn't do enough for us to make our stay an enjoyable one not enough staff the receptionist was covering the bar area as well, no evening meals available, this hotel has the potential to become one of blackpools finest if its run correctly |

Although it was in a quiet end of town the hotel had a lovely seafront location and was easily accessible by the Blackpool tram service. The beds were comfortable. The room was warm on a particularly wet and windy weekend. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was lovely as were the breakfast staff (very helpful). The bar was warm and cosy with a nice view of the prom and illuminations only a small issue but when my sister and I arrived at the hotel the carpark was full - however when we objected to parking away from the hotel she was allowed to leave the car in the spot allocated for guests checking in |

After reading reviews I was a little worried about choosing this hotel, i shouldn't of been. The hotel staff were friendly, the rooms were small but comfy and the breakfast was lovely! The tram stop was just across the road which meant if you did have enough of walking (or rain in our case) you didn't have to go far! I thought the location wasn't described correctly. It was at least 3 miles from the south pier and approx 1 mile past the north. it is situated at the quiet end of blackpool and although nice for some if you wanted to stay near the pleasure beach etc choose another hotel. |

Very attractive hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. Apart from the food, this hotel is excellent. The breakfast was awful. Bacon and sausages were uder-cooked and service was poor. Tables were poorly laid out and simple items - like milk jugs and tea spoons - had not been put out. Complete lack of organisation and basic cooking skills. The hotel is also not serving evening meals which as a 3 star hotel it is required to do. It is currently in breach of its accreditation. |

I have syayed at this hotel before, everything was fine. This time however I found the young man at the breakfast room very inexperienced dealing with the puplic,I could not believe it when he approached our table and said "Do you want some toast"in a very dulcitt manner I felt like telling him but to save my partners embarresment I kept quiet. |

probably the only thing was I was lucky enough to get a seaview, from my room. The brekfast wasn't great, sausage and bacon seemed to be of a very cheap cut, also no cold running water for drinking, the water from the taps and the bar was very warm., also the showers could do with updating, not very powerful at all. |

Overlooking the seafront on the North Shore, away from the noise of the town centre, this acclaimed hotel offers a leisure club, daily live entertainment and children’s activities. |
The Grand Metropole is located on Blackpool's promenade. The Grand Metropole's rich Victorian façade and interior do not detract from its modern accommodation and facilities. |
On Blackpool's North Shore, the sea-facing Savoy has a restaurant and en suite rooms. It is a short walk from the beach and set in a quieter part of Blackpool. |
This family-friendly hotel is right on the seafront between Blackpool Tower and the Pleasure Beach. The en suite rooms have been refurbished for 2009 and come complete with digital TVs. |
