The staff were all very nice especially the lady on reception.the breakfast was great value considering the amount we paid for the 1 night accommodation. The hotel does need some money spending on a re-furb but I guess its difficult for them considering the little profit they are left with on such low b&b tariff. We wish them lots of luck, and we will return next time we are in blackpool

Is cleaners is the main issue with me and I found that in this hotel I had no worries at all. I felt vert happy with the hotel! We had our room charged because of the bed but apart from that everything was good.

The staff were friendly and responded to requests, although most of them only had to be made because of the faults set out below. Buffet breakfast was satisfactory with no limit on what was selected. The public areas were quite spacious. Like so many British hotels it was severely under-resourced in terms of decor and maintenace. We had to refuse the first room offered because of a quite filthy carpet. The second room was far better but suffered from the heating being out of order; an oil-filled radiator was eventually provided.after two nights. There were annoying equipment faults. The wardrobe light flickered constantly; the toilet roll holder was broken; the broken wash-basin lever plug had been replaced by a simple plug on a chain - a bodge solution. One day the room was not cleaned, just the bins emptied and the tea and milk replenished. (The twin room occupied by our grandchildren was much better). The bar had no real English Ales - Budweiser and Becks are not what is expected! Tourist information was scanty.

This hotel was ridiculous for the price it was a hours walk from the fair even though we got told 15 min walk. Couldn't book in till half 2 so missed half day at the fair coz when we did book in the girl at the counter was to busy talking about her weekend away with her work college I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone unless they was going for a romantic weekend and didn't plan to leave the room for anything. Even the trams was like every hour so taxis wad like 10 pound feel robbed by Blackpool and this hotel!!!

The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was better than alot we have sampled in the same location. The cleanliness left a bit to be desired to say the least, however they did admit that the claening staff had left and agency staff had been deployed as a temporary solution. If this had not been an issue we would have certainly not hesitated to recommend this hotel to others.

The dirtiest hotel that we have stayed in in a long while. Carpets old and dirty, spare pillows stained and dirty - had to ask for replacements. We noted on leaving that the fresh linen to be used consisted of a bottom sheet and 2 pillow cases ( we used 4 pillows). There was no new clean doona cover yet the bedding consisted of a bottom sheet and doona (no top sheet as you would expect). The carpets throughout the hotel are very, very old, frayed and in need of urgent replacement. The room was not serviced on one of our 2 days there - no supervision of cleaners. A very poorly run hotel.

Very friendly helpful staff Not a complaint but the areas that I wouldn't recommend this hotel is because it requires some refurbishment. Ie carpets on stairs were worn and rather dangerous wearing high heels. The lift was out of order so having to carry cases up the stairs. The bedroom carpets were very dirty.

Nothing much hotel was just like cheep BnB... The room I booked was single but on aravile was told I hed family room for the same price. Just for me... I soon found things not to my liking the bathroom shower courtian was worn . the door was faulty on opening out into bathroom the carpet in room had stains from previous guests.. The double glazing windows needed cleaning and the window sill was dusty had,nt been cleaned until I did it, the breakfasts during the week days are not much but week end ones are buffet style but not much choices in fruites or cerials.. Also the games room was smelling of damp and was cold. Its not what I call a hotel only soupped up BnB.. I wont be going again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Big family room plenty of space for additionL 2 beds and cot. Good breakfast buffet. Cost of stay was very good value for money. Small lift, tight squeeze for a buggy and no space for luggage. Also outside lift not always working and quite a few steps up to hotel.
