Score from 283 reviews Very good
the room was really bad 1 door missing on wardrobe the window open on to a chimney the taps in the bathroom banged and sreamed when the room above flushed the toilet it sound as if it was dripping on the floor i never stay there again
the hotel it self was very good, the staff and service was excellent
we were notified 48 hours earlier that our stay would have to be cancelled due to an accident in one of the rooms we accepted that even though it ruined our 53 rd wedding anniversary.we were offered an alternative date, the room and where it was situated we could only in our opinion call it the emergency room
Very nice staff LUKE tried to sort out our feedback.
I did stay at this hotel 3yrs ago with a group of girls, rooms were really nice & breakfast was a good buffet serve yourself style breakfast. so i decided to go back and celebrate our wedding anniversary with my husband & another couple also celebrating there wedding annivesary, but so much had changed in 3yrs, dont no if it now is under new management but our room was very dated, chipped wood tables & mirror, Stains on wall, should of been a picture on wall but just large holes where it no longer is. Poo splatterd on seat, toilet had NOT been cleaned. 15mins wait to sit down for breakfast the next day, we was with another couple but had to sit on seperate tables. Kept getting woken up by the people in the room above because of the shocking floor boards. Got promised a £20 refund but only got £10 back! we are in our 30s but seems like it is a hotel for older people now, we felt so out of place!
Food and beverage staff charming and friendly although under pressure a lot of the time, very busy at breakfast. Very good breakfast choice, nice food, plenty of it. Reception person Gill, particularly helpful and very pleasant. Tram and bus stop right outside door. Good location on promenade.
No free wi fi in the rooms, a bit hit and miss in foyer. No lift to the fourth floor, had to carry two 23 kg suitcases up a flight of stairs. Twin room much smaller than appeared on photo, no floor space for an open suitcase. One of twin beds appeared to be a put-you-up. Breakfast room large but incredibly packed, catering for tour bus groups, seemed frenetic at times. Not the wait staff's fault.
The hotel is on the main road .just out of the town,so not so busy, tram or short walk takes you into the town
helpful staff quiet rooms good price only if discounted through the internet
shabby bathroom worn out rooms not worth full price
Absolutely nothing. Its only bright spot was the receptionist who was polite and helpful.
I review the service industry and hotels for a living. This is the 42nd in Blackpool. In any category, this is a poor hotel. It's nothing at all like its photos suggest. The rooms are dark and dank. It's miles away from Blackpool's attractions. Parking is limited. The internet is useless. Toiletries are non existent, not even a hair dryer. Cheap computer printed paper signs adorn every wall. The place is in disrepair. Check-in times are too late. Check-out times are too early. The breakfast period is ultra short. All in all, this is how not to run a hotel. The room was clean, but let down by having a terrible outlook and dark oppressive decor. It's cheap, but there's a reason for this. That's all it's worth. .
Choice in breakfast, free parking, evening entertainment and the bar weren't expensive.
Wouldn't allow me to amend my stay to a later check out time, never the less I enjoyed.
The location outside the hotel is good
The electrical system is shaky. The TV is not able to be turned other than by Turing off at wall at an upside down socket. The breakfast arrangements are poor. The Booking.com 8.7 certificate is out of date. Like many Blackpool hotels it needs a good shaking
As expected for the price nothing spectacular but clean and comfortable
Creaky floorboards when whoever was above me got up at 6 so was I. Lack of toiletries only two small bars of soap.
I couldn't fault this hotel. The staff were always on hand and couldn't do enough for you
Can not complain about anything .Room exc. Food adequate .Hotel clean. Entmt Fair Enjoyed my stay and will definely go theFre again
For a person of my age the bath and shower where a difficult no handrails for support
Staff were very kind and helpful
Query over price of rooms but soon sorted
Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean with good facilities everything you need from a hotel,
Breakfast was lovely i think there should be an option to have it later on if you are not leaving that day, i stayed 2 nights and the 1st morning was a bit of a drain getting up early when we werent leaving that day
staff very good and so was the cleanliness good value for the money will always go back
I had a sea view on a quiet corridor as myself & partner only booked in for a few hours as we had to go to work would stay again
Nothing it was fine for us
nothing to dislike everything went according to expectations, a nice clean friendly hotel.
Hotel location, was literally 30 seconds from tram stop. Clean, friendly and reliable. Value for Money
They accommodated are needs on Saturday morning by allowing us to have breakfast early due to our kids football tournament starting at 8.30. Very friendly and able to help and answer all questions
A drunk lad knocking on the door at 3 on Sunday morning. Hey, its Blackpool on a Holiday weekend. I think that we got off lightly
Clean tidy room ,, clean bed
Could do with a lick of paint
Liked the location of the hotel reception staff very friendly breakfast really nice
We book late the room was nice very well cleaned only down fall was it was quite dark had to keep the light on but it wouldn't stop us from booking again
Late check in as we was stuck on motorways
No bath mat or hand rail in their
Clean , comfortable hotel which was extremely good value for money. Excellent breakfast. No complaints - all good !
Nothing to complain about - all fine.
Not being able to get an evening meal as we never checked in till 6.45pm and dessert was being served. We had to walk miles up the street in the terrible wind to find a place to eat. We were not happy.
