Spacious, comfortable room with high quality facilities - large new TV, coffee maker, nice toiletries Welcoming hosts and good service Very good breakfast and dinner Well-lit, convenient car park
The restaurant facility and the dinner and breakfast.
Liked the hotel very much.
Very friendly staff and excellent food. Room was lovely and the heated floor in the bathroom was real luxury.
Our room was spacious clean and lovely views
My partner found the mattress too soft
Welcome by the staff, the lovely fire in cosy sitting room Wonderful bathroom with great shower. Super breakfast. Really fresh produce and meaty sausages. Peace and quiet.
The Bed was too hard. The quality of food in the dining room in the evening was not wonderful. Very greasy and overcooked sauté potatoes and very soggy noodles.
A personal service and really good food made this small hotel worthy of a review.
Room just needed a shaving mirror - but forgiven for its charm
Beautiful Breakfast Room Interesting Inn History Close to St Botolph's Hardham – one of England's greatest treasures
Bed was a little hard.
Nice log fire. Excellent breakfast in conservatory.
Cosy Atmosphere, really good food and service, convenient location for our own personal needs.
Lovely atmosphere, helpful staff and freshly produced food
Brilliant evening meal & breakfast
Bedroom was a bit small
Shower could have been more powerful
As soon as you walked through the door there was a pleasant welcome and shown to my room. The food was fantastic and a large portion the staff were very friendly. Would i stay again definaintly YES.
Warm and very welcoming staff, good selection food at a reasonable price and a good size to. Clean and comfortable room, very comfortable bed.
Room was a little draughty, no window blinds in bathroom, slightly awkward pulling back out onto main road from car park.
the staff were excellant
bed was a bit small
Stayed in room 5 for one night. Large, spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Tea making facilities and unexpectedly, a real coffee machine in the room. Lounge with real log fire. Excellent food at reasonable price and a first class breakfast included in price. Free parking on site. FAULTLESS.
There was absolutely nothing to dislike or complain about.
Owners and staff (especially blonde waitress) were charming and couldn't do enough for us. Really relaxed wnvironment. Great breakfast.
Bed was a bit lumpy for me, though husband said he slept like a log. Sink in shower-room was a little too small for washing oneself.
The living room was very cosy and inviting with a fire and the bar/ breakfast area was also very tastefully presented. Breakfast was very good with a good choice including individual yogurt with fruit purée in a glass jar.
Friendly staff Good food reasonably priced Peaceful surroundings Pleasant dining area Pleasant gardens
Good comfortable bed, large room, friendly staff. Food portions large.
Due to a broken fridge there was no fish dish available on the dinner menu. Also the choice of wine from the list was unavailable.
A fabulous place to stay. As soon as we walked in there was the smell of the open log fire. All food very good and plenty of it too. Rooms are spacious with modern facilities (large screen TV in the room with the 4-poster bed ;-)
Roaring log fire. Healthy breakfast choices.
The bar was closed before 10.30
Lovely twin room (I shared it with my elderly mother). Lovely breakfast, attentive staff.
The room was near a main road so there was traffic noise. Also, the room was near the kitchen and the noise of the fridge kept me awake
