the pub itself is lovely, great character and lovely food. Room was clean and did the job for one night well. the macertator and/ or pump for the facilities in the room next door where in my room. Getting woken at 5.30 by my neighbour using this time and time again was not good. This sort of noise should not be experienced for a £90 room in my opinion.

Lovely country pub in a quiet location with modern, clean and comfortable rooms.Great menu to choose from and an excellent breakfast served by helpful staff, in fact everyone who works there could not do enough to help. The rooms were quite small with limited storage so staying one night was not a problem however if you were staying for any longer it could be.

It is a good old english pub, with 17 bedrooms located well away from the main area to ensure quiet. It has a cancellation policy - so many places do not do this in eh Beacondfiedl area. Clean, comfortable, ample parking, easy to find, good foord and wine. Lovely old village Inn

I have stayed before, and have always preferred the country pub setting to the large chain hotels.

We enjoyed the facilities of the country pub which enabled us to meet family without leaving the hotel. We felt that having paid a fairly high room rate the cost of breakfast and evening bar snacks was on the high side.

Stayed 2 nights before leaving for Heathrow. Countryside location was just lovely. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to do so. The room was quite nice, very very clean, which is of utmost importance. Bed comfortable, and nice windows which opened to a quiet view. Lots of free parking and a nice outside garden area with picnic tables. Ate at both the pub and restaurant and the food at the restaurant was exceptional, as was the service. Pub food generous and priced right. Would recommend this Inn to anyone on holiday or wanting something near the outskirts of London. Very convenient to Heathrow if flying out. Just 30 m inutes away. No complaints except, like most English hotels, washcloths were not provided. Americans find this a bit strange. Stayed a a number of English Inns and none provide this item.

Fantastic shower! Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Good food. Slight problem with wifi and phone signal but eventually rectified itself.

I Loved the old world feel and the food was excellent. Very expensive to stay, my room was £90 for one night with single occupency and I then had to pay another £9.96 for Breakfast..

Good location and comfortable room. Despite a bar on site not at all noisy. The storage in the room was ok but storage units were old and although nice from an asthetic point of view were not practical.
