Steeped in history, the Chequers Inn, built in the 17th century, is full of charm and style.

Oak posts and beams, flagstone floors - snug on a winter's evening, bright and sunny on a summer's day.
Only 24 miles from London, it's just waiting for your visit.
There are seventeen exclusive and individual bedrooms. With views over open countryside, seen through leaded windows, the warmth of stripped pine and luxurious fabrics leaves you feeling rested and comfortable.

Linda Solo traveller ST VIVIEN, France October 19, 2008	Staff were very helpful when there were problems the bed was very comfortable Breakfast very expensive - only wanted a bowl of cereal due to being there on business but it would have cost £8! the room was very small & the 'desk' was a dressing table with an uncomfortable chair - not very helpful for working in the room. The shower head was fixed & not practical for female visitors.	6
