Absolutely loved it! Although it's not centrally located, the city is not big anyway, and you can enjoy the tranquility of the hotel, as well as a beautiful night view of the city given its vantage point. The staff are extremely nice, attentive to details and your requests. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the minute you entered the hallway you immediately feel at home. Will definitely come back!

Lovely bed&breakfast, very friendly service, lots of facilities in our room (family cottage) tv, kitchen with cattle, fridge, microwave, wi-fi. Beautiful room with marvellous beds and view of the city from main bedroom. Bathroom clean, plenty of towel and amenities. Great breakfast! Free parking. John and Iris are very sweet and caring. The view of the city is beautiful and so is the house but it is quite of a walk, especially on the way back, to town center, you always need to take the car or a bus especially if you have bags, if it rains or you are with people who can t really walk.

The owners, John & Iris were great. Nothing was too much trouble and they always had a warm welcome and friendly chat. Breakfast was fantastic. Plenty of fruits & cereals, cereal bars, yoghurt, fruit juices, Teas & coffees and a real quality full English. The room even had a dvd player with a choice of movies.

Amazing value for money, the breakfast in particular was brilliant, with loads of variety. The room was comfortable and really nicely designed. The bathroom was huge and the shower was a dream! The couple who ran the place were really friendly and pleasant to chat to. They were also helpful about local events. Would definitely stay again.

The owners were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and as a vegetarian it can be a challenge to find a good cooked breakfast. Here the food was presented really well and the dining room was spotless. The range of breakfast options were also really impressive with quality products available. The room had a great view across Bath with a double shower and double basins. The accommodation generally was comfortable and welcoming. Thank you Iris and John for your hospitality.

The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable with all conveniences. The breakfast that was included was extensive and included buffet and full English breakfast, which was excellent. The host was very friendly and we would highly recommend the Cheriton House.

We had a warm welcome and were immediately impressed with the atmosphere of Cheriton House. The room was spacious and well equipped with lots of additional touches to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast was superbly laid out and service was of the highest standard. I am coeliac and lactose intolerant and was very impressed to have soya milk, spread and gluten free toast without having to ask or explain my condition. Only wish we had been staying for longer. We will certainly visit again.

Good location, warm welcome, good breakfast, very clean and well appointed. Well, the room was not the most spacious and it was very warm, too warm in fact, but the main problem was the bed. I'm 6ft 3 tall and weigh 15 and a half stone, not that big really, but the bed was too short, ok I can live with that, but every time I moved it creeked, waking up my wife. The bed has seen better days, not what you would get in a travel lodge etc. ie. You would get a better bed! We booked a superior room, it wasn't superior.

Excellent breakfast, clean rooms, good view of Bath, quiet surroundings. Room was smaller than we expected for a Deluxe Double room that we paid for. There was no bath, just a shower, though the bathroom was clean and spacious. For a Deluxe Room,we did expect a bath..

Cheriton House was excellent. Our group comprised of ourselves as senior citizens, our daughter and 16 year old grand daughter. We stayed in the coach house where there was a comfortable lounge and kitchen,a large bathroom with ample toiletries and lovely white fluffy towels and two good sized bedrooms. We had everything we required. Everything was clean and modern.Across the drive in the main house we were served an excellent full english breakfast in a light airy conservatory. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would recommend staying here and will certainly consider staying again in the future. Only thing missing was washing up liquid and a tea towel. As it was quite a cool day it would have been nice to have some background heating on to add a little more comfort. Visitors should also be aware that the property is at the top of a hill above the city.
