The staff was very friendly and helpfull. I enjoyed a tremendously relaxing evening at the hotel. Set back of the main road, it was more quiet than expected. I would recommend this as a B & B type hotel for nature lovers. |

Cherry Garth was very easy to find and was the town was just a short walk from the hotel. The breakfast was very good, and the room was comfortable although not of the highest quality as reflected in the very reasonable price. |

Close to centre of Ambleside and easy to access local roads In need of urgent updating. Rooms were just adequate, poor state of decoration. Not good value for money - seemed expensive for such basic facilities |

A quiet location being set back from the main road to Windermere, with good parking but still only a short walk to the town centre. Nice breakfast. |

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Too many stairs. We were allocated a room at the top of the hotel up on the second floor, despite having stated on the booking site that one party member was disabled and found stairs difficult. |

Excellent location and interesting old house with a wonderfully large and comfortable room. The hotel would benefit from modernising throughout. |

Just guessing but I think the young ladies running the hotel have just started on a big journey. The hotel looks tired and in need of some tlc(as do a lot of Lakes accom, cafes & pubs)Pleasant enough stay and would go back on a similar budget deal. Wish them well and good luck if that is the case. Has the prospect of being a nice place. None |
