Staff very helpful, friendly and motivated. Rooms and hotel, in general, spotlessly clean. Excellent inclusive breakfast and meals,overall, very good. Despite there being over 300+ guests in the hotel during our visit, as there were several functions and at least one wedding on at the time, the hotel coped extremely well and we didn't feel our visit was compromised by this. The car park was covered by security cameras and there was a safe in our room. The location is excellent as there are many attractions within easy reach, such as Leamington Spa, Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle, etc. We really enjoyed our stay.

Drinks in the bar were very expensive and there was no fridge in our room for the storage of the wine we had brought with us. We had found out about the price of drinks from other reviews and that is why we brought some wine with us! This ridiculous and excessive mark-up on the price of wines etc at some hotels is something that hoteliers should realise really spoils what otherwise could have been an excellent or even an exceptional level of service.

Unfortunately,neither my husband or myself were able to sleep. This was entirely due to the hardness of the beds. Each morning we were both in considerable pain with aching joints. Although we are in our early 70's we do not suffer from joint pain, are extremely active, have no health issues.

Excellent bedroom and Restaurant

The rooms were very clean, staff knowlegeable.

Would have liked a jacuzzi and the pool could be abit bigger. More variety of evening menu would be good also. Waited too long for room service not impressed with that.

All the staff were pleasant and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Friendliness of the staff. High quality of the food and the central location to Kenilworth, Warwick and Leamington Spa.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room nice and clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was large and clean with good shower and good bath. Good having complimentary water in fridge. Also room temp was controllable so could raise temp as required. Full length mirror was good. Breakfast was really good - lots of buffet choice plus cooked breakfast. Flat screen TV was good. Parking easy as big car park. Room was modern and quiet. Gym was good, with running machines, and pool looked nice (not massive) but we didn't try that. Bar was nice and there is a terrace which is probably nice in the summer. Kenilworth castle is in nearest town and pub opposite the castle is very good for food (restaurant quality/style).

TV: Nice flat screen TV but surprised that there weren't more channels - only BBC1, 2, ITV1, C4, 5, E4, CBBC, ITV2, SkyNews, CNN and music channel - not even the full range of Freeview channels. Food: Be nice to have more water in the fridge. Since there was a fridge might have been good if there was a mini-bar (snacks/drinks). Don't think there was a shop on site so you would have to go to the service station or go to the bar if you wanted a packet of crisps or something. No hot chocolate sachets - just tea/coffee. Restaurant food was fine, not massive portions but fine for hotel restaurant. Also restaurant decor a bit dated and quite dimly lit in the evening. Fitness: gym facilities and pool good, but no SkySports - only available in the bar.

Comfortable enough for most people. Rooms were standard business hotel and very clean. Staff very helpful. Fantastic heating system which created the perfect room temperature even on the coldest day of the year.

Limited choice on evening menu for vegetarians. Not far to travel to Stratford upon Avon for a wide choice.

The comfort and cleanliness of the rooms was excellent and the staff at reception and breakfast in particular were excellent. Hotel was lovely and quiet too.

The lunch provided at the conference was very poor.

All good. But very bad re the 4.30am email survey. Many people use their phone alarm so I was woken up by you email. Not good.
