We chose Chesford Grange as our wedding venue and I can honestly say they were great. Sarah McGovern was our planner and she moved heaven and earth to tailor every last detail to our specific requests. The wedding food was absolutely amazing both in the morning and evening! I would recommend this hotel to anyone of any age. I also had some treatment in the spa wow !!!!! I would challenge anybody to find such a brilliant, clean and friendly place no matter what the occasion. We tend to go away for short breaks quite often and we will now be looking at q hotels as first port of call. Well done Chesford Grange and Thankyou for an amazing start to married life xx

The staff were all very pleasant and eager to please going out of their way to help. The hotel was very relaxing the rooms comfortable and very clean, the food was very nice and very reasonably priced. We visited Warwick, Stratford and Leamington Spa during our long weekend and the hotel is idealy situated for all. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Bathrooms modern and clean. Rooms large. Grounds pleasant - also community spaces. Service, attitude of staff on reception. Major problems with bedding. Rooms cold when you arrive take long time to warn up as you cannot put any heating on until you are in the room. Showers go hot and cold while you are showiering. First day because not many guests breakfasts dried up - much better 2nd day when more people. Do not consider standards 4 star. Although reception housed in very pleasant building - actual rooms to stay in were in basic blocks at back of house - just basic oblong rooms as per Permier Inn etc. Also price charged was higher than that quoted on your confirmation. Not much but it hackles.

Walking by the river. Location. Too large and uninviting. Its main purpose seemed to be as a conference centre.

Very charming hotel with good country side location. Check in and food service was good. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Had to change room three times as first room was very warm and second room had no hot water. Third room was good. Staff was accommodating.

The staff were very helpful and considerate throughout the stay. The quality and range of the breakfast was excellent. The building and grounds are pleasant. The spa was very basic, with only a steam room. The rooms were in desperate need of a makeover and a lick of paint - they were not 4 star standard.

Checking in service Checking out service, i thought i had already paid Booking.Com when booking the room. Having to also pay the hotel when checking out looked as if i was paying twice (Booking.Com & Hotel?) the desk clerk could not explain the situation....now i am having to keep an eye on my bank account on a daily basis to make sure i have not been charged twice. Also, the invoice recieved had my name on it but not my home address but for someone in Gloucestershire? Why?

Location: Close to the Stoneleigh Showground / Kit Car Show, grounds in which to walk and open countryside for exercising our dog. Room: Over the past four years Chesford Grange have provided us with a ground floor room with access to the grounds for ease of dog walking. This has been very comfortable and well appointed. Food: The breakfast is always excellent and this year we thought that the evening menu was improved as it included more vegetarian options. Whilst there is extensive parking around the adjacent Conference area, parking by the hotel can be difficult after 1600

Staff were excellent. Food was average at best and bar food was very overpriced. The room was dusty. The key cards had to be replaced as they stopped working half way through the visit.

The staff were excellent, the breakfast was fantastic and the location was equidistant for visiting Kenilworth, Leamington Spa and Warwick. You could not really walk into any of the urban centres (a taxi into Leamington Spa was £11 each way, for example).

The room was fantastic. The staff in the bar and restaurant seemed very disorganized.. but nice enough. There was several mistakes made on food orders and then a lot of things that were on the menu yet unavailable as they has had run out.

“We enjoyed a warm welcome from the very friendly staff ,which always adds to your stay. The building was wonderful, just the right mix of old and new ! The late afternoon meal of ,fish and chips was good but the ;"Full English Breakfast" really did it for me.The location was perfect and so atmospheric too;also near to so many places to visit.Sadly we were not able to stay more than one night but we do plan to arrange another visit to ,Old Mill Inn. ” John, Stoke-on- |
