Staff and rooms
this hotel has modern, big rooms, a rarity in England. Spotless rooms, great service and meals and easy commute into London
there is nothing that I didn't like
Clean throughout the hotel. Large room, comfortable beds, good shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent as were the staff. Used the swimming pool and area, nice and relaxing.
Civility of staff, close proximity to motorway and very comfortable surroundings.
Although staff very attentive the breakfast was not very warm.
The attentive staff, the comfortable beds, the good food and the facilities for relaxation all made our short stay one to remember.
Wifi in the rooms would be good but there was plenty of available space in the lounge areas to use the 24 hour wifi.
breakfast was good
rooms look old fashioned, the facilities are basic, the indoor pool is mini--size - all together the quality is not worth the cost.
I booked two standard rooms at this hotel. The rooms were not ready at check in time and my guests were given a free upgrade to a suite. They were very happy with their accommodation.
My standard room overlooked the rear of the leisure facilities. My room was extremely hot. The air conditioning did not work and when I opened the window for ventilation the constant noise of the vent from the leisure facilities was very loud and prevented me from sleeping. I reported the fault but the hotel did nothing, even when prompted.
Very noisy neighbours which kept us awake.
First receptionist and junior bar and waiting staff very friendly and helpful. Close to shops.
Senior receptionists could do with a smile and friendlier approach as with some of the senior bar staff. Didnt enjoy breakfast...pool was poor along with dressing rooms across a hallway.
The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Not a cramped hotel room like many others. Amazing.
We had to go home in the morning.
Bar food, breakfast
The chef at the breakfast you could order what way you wanted the eggs done.
Noisy wedding and garden is in fact a small courtyard. Cheaper rooms have better outlook. Rather impersonal
not enough tea, milk or soap
Every thing about this hotel.
The room was massive for one person. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. Food was lovely too. Great location too.
Just a small thing, it would have been nice to have complimentary water in the room, but not a problem. I asked for a jug of water which was perfect.
Warm reception, comfortable room, wonderful pillows, easy parking, good eating experience, would definatetly return.
Good place to stay, very clean & friendly staff. Will stay again when visiting family.
All the staff were excellent from check in to cleaners. Barman. The breakfast was excellent as were the very attentive staff. Good size pool to exercise.
Bed itself comfortable but room decor needs updating which includes the bathroom.
Location suited our needs, car parking facilites
Too much actvity with too few staff. Lengthy queues to book in, purchase a drink, could not sit together for breakfast, lots of selection for breakfast missing, a;beit then remedied.
Price of food and drink! £22.50 for two glasses of wine????? Can see why so many people appeared to nip to nearby supermarket and return with drinks!
The room and bed was as comfortable as ever
The hotel lacked the luxury of the huntingdon Marriott which I recently stayed at. The rooms were not as modern, the bath was small and decor dated. Breakfast was lacking fresh fruit and fish choices.
Friendly staff Separate room for the kids
Bed was hard and uncomfortable despite a mattress topper The pull out beds had a spring sticking up in the larger one and the other was really hard
