The staff was very attentive. We had an issue at 23:30, called them and they addressed it for us and were pleasant for a difficult situation. Resolved it as well as they could. Its in a seedy neighborhood. Though they made us and our bikes secure.

We were forced to sleep on 2 couches in the reception area after the obnoxious owner accused us of breaking the lock to our room. We phoned the emergency number but after not answering it the first couple of times it was turned off when we tried again. He threatened us and was aggressive towards us all the while we remained calm with a relaxed demeanour. I was subsequently charged unbeknownst to me after I had left. I would avoid this hostel at all costs.

Very easy to book Cheap Friendliness of staff Proximity to city centre - Sharing a dorm with a big group - Heating on full blast all night - The loudness of the fan in the bathroom, exaggerated because the mirror light did not work and main light needed to be turned on in the night (meaning fan turns on) - my head was next to bathroom wall.

Very friendly welcome from staff, great common rooms (kitchen and lounge area) and our ensuite room, whilst small, was just perfect - fantastic value for money and easy walking distance from everything in Chester The squeaky sign that creaked in the wind!

5 minute walk from Railway Station, bang in middle of Chester, location great. Ideal for a one night stay, other places in Chester nearly double the price. Staff friendly, freeview on Tv. Free wi fi was good. Central heating not on long enough, it was a very cold February Night, Room small, only two small towels,no wardrobe just a few hangers to put your clothes on the nails on wall, only small room.

This place does what it says... It's a great short break stay. It provides a nice bed for the night with basic amenities and some nicely presented shared areas ... Very basic but usable.

Well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge/tv room, free WiFi, nice outdoor terrace, friendly owner. Showers/toilets were a bit small. Fine, but could be a hassle if it was busy. Lighting was a bit dingy throughout but it's okay.

location hostel was ok , as you would expect . when i arrived on sunday i was waiting for the manger at least 2hr. he arrived stoned, with his other mate. I mentioned to him that i hav booked by mistake for 3 nights , but i m want to book it for another extra night . which off course he forgot. so on thursday night hostel was full and there was no space. i was given codes for front door and dorm ,but never needed the dorm code as it was never locked. my car broke down one night , i rang the hotel mamagment to get info on local garadges. it was 10 pm . manager came out and replied "call 118 118". by the way on thursday night i wasnt accomodayed in hostel so had to look for another place.

Well it's cheap, but it doesn't look very nice and it just has the feeling of a doss house. The room was very small and so was the en-suite, but everything worked OK

Walking distance from train station and city centre. It is budget accommodation so nothing amazing to be expected. However lounge was grubby and while the bathroom in the dorm was ok, the room needed some cleaning as there was rubbish and what seemed like lost underwear under the beds. The carpet and specially the rug had seen better days and were stained. No cafes nearby to have breakfast.
