The hosts were very accomodating and very helpful with ideas of what to see and do. They also helped with Bus Routes and where to eat. Being free to come and go as you wish. Everything was done for your comfort but it would have been good to have the food hotter at breakfast. Perhaps a lounge to relax in would be a bonus.

This was a stop-off point whilst travelling from Scotland back to Berkshire. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, lots of it and freshly made. The rooms were clean and confortable and tastefully furnished. A bit more shelving or cupboards in the bathroom would have been useful. Unfortunately, we didn't realise that Chester Horseracing was taking place that weekend, hence the answer below regarding range of hotels - there was very little choice as Chester was booked out!

Very welcoming and helpful - enjoyed a very good breakfast I thought the price increase for the Saturday night (because of Chester Races) to be rather steep - there was an increase in price from our stay on the Fridaynight (£77) to Saturday night (£125) I felt the price of £77 to be a fair rate but the price of £125 was expensive for the facilities provided

This was our 2nd visit to Chester and this b & b was a lot nearer the town than the last time we stayed in Chester. The owners were very friendly upon arrival and gave us lots of very useful information regarding the town and the surround places of interest to visit. We had the triple room at the back and it was very nicely furnished, warm and very cosy. Breakfast had a lot of choice which you decided on the night before. The cooked breakfast came very quickly and the owners were in frequently making sure we had enough to eat and drink and would always stay and have a chat to us all before we left the room. There was a bus stop outside which was handy and we should have used it as the 25min walk into town was a bit much twice a day for me. Our son has special needs but it was not a problem for them and they were very helpful with making sure everything was alright for him. We loved this very old friendly house and will be back next year for another visit and will recommend it to friends,

This is a comfortable b&b within easy walking distance of Chester town centre and station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, well equipped and of good size. There was a good choice for breakfast and the coooked meal was very good and efficiently served. Unfortunately the credit / debit card machine was off line when I came to pay and I had to use up most of my available cash.

I don't know where to start! Fantastic welcome, very friendly and helpful owners who went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. Lovely cooked breakfast which was served very quickly, fantastic range available for breakfast. Comfortable beds and a very clean room. B & B in a very nice area close to the city centre and train station. We will be staying here again. 11 out of 10! The fact that we only stayed Monday through to Thursday night, wish we'd stayed there until the following Monday.

Once again Mr and Mrs Tollett were helpful and friendly I felt like I was going back to revisit old friends. My room was lovely and warm with a bed that was very comfortable. Breakfast cooked to order was again delicious. It's my 'home' in Chester! Nothing, highly recommend it - and I'm fussy!
