I was met by a very welcoming man, nothing was too much for him. Still worse for wear the following morning I was allowed an extra hour before being woken. A very nice lady sent me on my way with a bacon butty and coffee. Very happy and would stay again
The warm welcome we received on arrival. Nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was lovely. We would stay again, and recommend it to our friends.
After reading many reviews on this place i chose to book & i wasn't disappointed from the second we walked in. We were greeted by a lovely lady who gave us lots of info. We went up to our room on the top floor, it was a good size, warm & very clean! The bed was so comfy and the bedding was good quality. We loved everything about our stay. The breakfast was great and the owners are two of the nicest people I've ever met. I can not recommended this B&B enough.
Owners were very attentive Breakfast was nice Very clean and tidy
Good place - all very clean and confy
Good size room comfortable bed soft carpet friendly owners location was brill
Small car park bathroom needed a spouse up the towels smelt like cooking the tv was too small. I couldn't read the guide when sat on bed
The friendly staff/management, the comfy bed, clean very large room and very nice breakfast means we will use this B&B again.
Big room, big bed and comfortable, very clean. Breakfast cooked to order. 15/20 minute walk to town. Told of good places to eat, couldn't ask for more really.
Nothing whatsoever to complain about
Everything! The location is ideal, about 15 minutes walk into Chester or you can catch a bus if you want to. Nice and quiet area so you can get a good nights sleep. Rooms very comfortable and staff really friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfasts and cater for gluten free too. Sure we will be back.
The owners were very welcoming and the room was spacious and comfortable with a king-size bed. The room was quiet and there was free parking on site. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the city centre and local restaurants.
Mark gave us good advice about local meal options and transport. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean, and the bathroom modern and well fitted. Breakfast was in the dining room and was made to order by Remina. There was a broad selection of food both hot and cold, and the quality was good.
My wife and I were in a second floor room. We therefore had two flights of stairs, however Mark kindly helped us with our luggage so this was no trouble.
Friendly welcome on arrival. Large, comfy room with garden view (no. 4). Tasty breakfast.
Clean room Comfortable bed Good breakfast Friendly hosts Parking space
Good location and parking. Clean and friendly.
Picture falling off the wall behind the bed,and waking us up with a very loud bang. Fortunately it fell between the wall and the bed not on us.
The location was within walking distance to city centre and a bus stop was near too. The breakfast was cooked to a high standard and service was good. The room was comfortable but very basic.
When we arrived in our room the bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked. We had to eat breakfast before 9am which is a little early for us and had to order the day before.
Have just returned from a 2 night stay with my hubby. Upon arrival we received a warm, friendly, informative greeting. Room 2 had large comfy bed and sofa. Large shower cubicle. The room was very clean. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and really set us up for the day. We could not find fault with anything. Chester was a wonderful place to explore. Would recommend our visit to Chester Brooklands to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
There was nothing to find fault with.
Poached eggs for breakfast best ever tasted.
The owners were very friendly and location was fairly good. Nice big king size bed.
The electric shower was very slow running and would of expected a bath a superior 4 star room. Breakfasts were quite small in portion size also. Didn't feel this property is deserving if a 4 star hotel especially considering the price we paid for a 2 night stay of over 200 pound. Will not be visiting here again.
Our stay at the Brooklands was wonderful and we would definitely stay there again. We were made to feel really welcome, nothing was too much trouble and the homemade jams were lovely.
No negatives at all
We had a really lovely stay, were made welcome and even left with a jar of home-made marmalade-would definitely stay again.
Large, comfortabel bed. Wifi. We appreciated the effort from the lady to give us a nice cycleroute
Very warm room under the roof. Bed is better than the breakfast. Only one toast each for breakfast, wanted to ask more, but the landlord didn't turn op any more...
I really liked the location of this b&b, just a short bus ride to town. Manager very knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Everything very clean.
Room was advertised with luxury bathroom but the bathroom was standard and I wouldn't call it luxury at all.
We loved everything. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and quiet at night. Safe neighbourhood. Wonderful breakfast. We could go walking everywhere. And Mark and Remina were excellent hosts, very friendly and always there to help you.
Nothing at all.
