The location was within walking distance to city centre and a bus stop was near too. The breakfast was cooked to a high standard and service was good. The room was comfortable but very basic.
When we arrived in our room the bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked. We had to eat breakfast before 9am which is a little early for us and had to order the day before.
Have just returned from a 2 night stay with my hubby. Upon arrival we received a warm, friendly, informative greeting. Room 2 had large comfy bed and sofa. Large shower cubicle. The room was very clean. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and really set us up for the day. We could not find fault with anything. Chester was a wonderful place to explore. Would recommend our visit to Chester Brooklands to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
There was nothing to find fault with.
Poached eggs for breakfast best ever tasted.
Our stay at the Brooklands was wonderful and we would definitely stay there again. We were made to feel really welcome, nothing was too much trouble and the homemade jams were lovely.
No negatives at all
We had a really lovely stay, were made welcome and even left with a jar of home-made marmalade-would definitely stay again.
Large, comfortabel bed. Wifi. We appreciated the effort from the lady to give us a nice cycleroute
Very warm room under the roof. Bed is better than the breakfast. Only one toast each for breakfast, wanted to ask more, but the landlord didn't turn op any more...
I really liked the location of this b&b, just a short bus ride to town. Manager very knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Everything very clean.
Room was advertised with luxury bathroom but the bathroom was standard and I wouldn't call it luxury at all.
We loved everything. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and quiet at night. Safe neighbourhood. Wonderful breakfast. We could go walking everywhere. And Mark and Remina were excellent hosts, very friendly and always there to help you.
Nothing at all.
Just what we were after , host was very friendly and facilities excellent.
Nothing to dislike.
Friendly and helpful host.
Very generous as let us occupy our room early. Liked ordering our breakfast the night before. Nice homemade extras. Friendly.
All the notices around the room, they could have been in the book.
The superior bedroom was spacious, clean and light.Good variety of food for breakfast. Frequent bus service into Chester centre from nearby bus stop. On site car park.
Welcoming and informative hostess. Clean and comfy room. Well located for Town Centre. Good food
Nothing to dislike
Very friendly and helpful owner we were made very welcome and had a comfortable one night stay . Short (15 mins ) walk into Chester although bus stop right outside b & b . Breakfast very good .

location great, guest house very comfortable, staff very obliging & helpful, breakfast very good something for everyone.
We really appreciated the warm welcome and helpful advice on what to see in Chester. Brooklands is a lovely place to stay with all one could wish for at a sensibly priced b & b. I would recommend it to anyone.
Everything was great, pub and shops within walking distance cheshire Oaks 10 minutes away
Every thing but one small thing? Television
Television said large screen , when booked, its was small screen and to hign up wall. But will still go there again.. need to move tv down to eye level.
For myself + my husband the location was ideal , peaceful + a lovely 10 minute walk into the city centre .
Thought the breakfast was good, glad i ordered large as it was quite small amounts ?
Wasn't keen on the clock chiming in the hall, directly under my room no1, it chimes every hour, half hour and every quarter. It woke me at midnight, then at five six and seven. When i mentioned it very politely Mark laughed and said "yes, it's been chiming there for two years" ? when i asked if any one had mentioned it in the past he said " not really, you must be very light sleeper" I think he has it wrong ? People don't mention it but they don't come back either ?? Hard fact but true in my experience
Bed was very comfy. Room was nice and clean, and a good size. The owners were helpful and friendly
Our car breaking down as we arrived at our destination, and having to pay for it to be towed home.
All of it. From location, building, room and breakfast. Plus friendly host and hostess. excellent and would choose again.
