“ This is a very well equipped and organised bed and breakfast. We were welcomed and given a pot of tea on arrival which was great after our long drive. The proprieter, Mark gave us a map of Chester and lots of helpful information on various things to see and directions to restaurants. The breakfast was very good (with lovely home-made marmalade). There was safe front-yard parking for the car and we would definitely stay here again. ”

Less than 1 mile from Chester’s historic city centre, this peaceful, solar-powered bed and breakfast offers free private parking and free Wi-Fi. Discounted tickets are available for Chester Zoo, which is within a 10-minute drive of Chester Brooklands. The B&B offers a 10% discount for Cheshire Oaks, a shopping outlet, which is also 10 minutes’ drive away. Strictly non-smoking, a flat-screen TV, luxury toiletries, a hairdryer, tea/coffee/chocolate making facilities and biscuits are included in each room, which also has matching oak furnishings. All rooms have a tourist information pack on Chester and there is a free map from reception. chester brooklands b and b was very comfortable,clean and within easy walking distance of chester city centre. Also if did not want to walk into chester there were a couple of pubs and eating places near to the bed and breakfast. Proprietors were very welcoming and helpful and breakfast was very good. Ideal place to stay wether short or long break.

Friendly welcome with cup of tea. Helpful suggestions for eating out. Pleasant atmosphere. Excellent breakfasts Not really an issue for us, but our bedroom was on the 2nd floor, so quite a few stairs. Could be difficult for some although Mark readily offered help with the luggage

Mark and his wife were very friendly and helpful gave us a lovely welcome on arrival. Our room was very clean bright and well equipped. Breakfast was spot on! Really good location for the City Centre. Mark gave us a map on arrival and let us know what was going on in the City for the weekend. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. My partner didn't like the sausages

Friendly, comfortable,clean ,excellent breakfasts, and near enough to Chester Town centre to walk, so no need to move the car from the free car park they provide. having to leave!

Lovely hotel The staff made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was out of this world. Great location. Room was nice and bed was comfortable Bathroom was very cold and heater did not do much.

Lovely place to stay. We were made very welcome by Mark & his wife. We made use of the discounted zoo tickets and also the 10% off at some of the shops at Cheshire Oaks. The breakfast was very good with wonderful home-made marmalade and jam. Would certainly stay here again.

Stayed 2 nights (Thur/Fri) in March. The location is ideal if you want to be away from the city centre hustle and bustle a level 15 minutes stroll will get you there. The hosts were very welcoming and the map of Chester was most welcome. The room we had (4) was on the second floor and was large, comfortable with everything you need. The power shower was just that. Breakfast was pre ordered with a wide choice and plentiful. nothing

comfortable room with lots of options for check in times. very friendly and helpful owners. somewhere to park the car at no extra cost. excellent choice for breakfast. short walk into city peaceful location. reasonable price. can't think of anything!

Superb! The ladies couldn't do enough during our stay. Very clean indeed which is very important for my mother and I! Breakfast was delicious and served with a big smile each morning! Only a short walk from the City Centre.

Good sized room with everything you`d expect. Large comfortable bed. A great breakfast and plenty of it, also had a gluten free option which was important. Very helpful and friendly owners and staff. Would definately use again. The shower was electric and therefore a bit bit feeble, particularly in the winter.
