Nothing was too much trouble for the Owner, who even made me an Omelette for Breakfast, despite it not being on the Menu. The Guest House was very quiet, considering it's on a busy Main Road.

The breakfast was lovely, and the dining room was very nice too. The room was compact, but comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly too. We stayed for two nights on the Easter weekend, and on the second day we came backafter day out to find the room cleaned, bed made up, with two mini chocolate eggs left for us, which was nice. The location was on treelined main road, with a lovely pub about a 5 minute wallk nearby called the Bawn Lodge. The city itself was about a 15 minute pleasant walk. We would get a taxi back to the guesthouse at night though.

The Chester was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was gorgeous and set you up for the day. You could come and go as you please with no interference. 10 - 15 mins walk to city centre. Try the Chinese mins away on Hoole Road 9going towards centre) good food, but you need to book, gets busy. Just a little away from the centre, but a nice walk on a dry day, We have no other complaints.

The owner Helen was friendly and helpful. The room No.5 Was spacious clean and comfy. The Breakfast room was good and the breakfast was good It was very frosty outside on the 15/16 January and the room was very cold during the night and morning. The heating should have been adjusted to cope with the weather conditions.

1. There should be a couple of speakers discreetly placed in the dining room playing something like radio 2 or at this time of year, a festive cd. Would make conversation at breakfast easier, rather than feeling you were in a church everyone talking in very hushed tones!! Doesn't make for making new aquaintances. 2. We were disappointed that there were no baths, and that the shower was only luke warm on full power, tho the tap water was hot. Otherwise very enjoyable

A room for three singles was great for friends, breakfast was tailored to individual choice, delightful, delicious and in a lovely room. All staff were very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended simple, clean & pleasant place to stay. The decor in the room was nice and the beds lovely and comfy, a pleasant room to be in, thanks.

Friendly , comfortable , very clean , suitable for all the family, very nice breakfast.Handy for the town. The shower wasn't very good at all. There was no instruction's on how to operate. There was no water pressure so it took along time to get wet. This was the only fault we could find with the place. The shower/shower's need to be looked at .

What you would expect for a b&b in this price range. Ample size room with large bed, good breakfast. We stayed one night but would stay longer if needed. Was not quite as close to the town centre as we imagined.

It was convenient. Felt quite impersonal. Room location in house not too good from noise point of view and smelled heavily of dampness. Privacy of ensuite windows very poor - directly overlooked by other rooms opposite. Breakfast disappointing - some items on menu unavailable and cold bacon.

Average 3 star accommodation. Room clean and bed comfortable and breakfast fine. Staff helpful with local advice. More hangers needed in wardrobe. 4 hangers for 2 people staying 4 days is not enough. Had to ask for towels to be changed which was done with no bother but should have been done automatically.
