I liked the gym, pool and spa facilities. Also the gardens were lovely. The food in the dining room was very nice too. I wanted a snack when I got there and my blt sandwich took ages to arrive even though I was the only one there. Also I would have liked to have seen more healthy options of food on the bar menu. |

The weather was great and going out in the garden was lovely, staff were nice and friendly and the hotel was comfortable. We were bed/breakfast and i did look for prices for dinner but could not see any and i really do not like to ask, so we went to chester, all the main parts of the room were clean but it really needs more attention to things like, the lower part of tables are quite dust laden, but it did not really matter so much to me but i am sure others would have complained. |

A warm, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, beautiful well kept grounds and plenty of safe parking. The staff were most pleasant and reception provided maps to two places we wished to visit. There were no bathrobes provided and when requested were told that none were available. Certain areas are in need of refurbishment and decoration. |

This is a lovely old building that is kept very well and has excellent leisure facilities. It is perfectly located just outside Chester so it is quiet at night. |

The 3 course evening meal was lovely and the waiting on staff were very pleasant. The room was spacious and very comforfatable. The price of the wine and drinks were over priced but really was to be expected. |

we liked the personal touches from the staff which sets it apart from the budget hotels that you can book we felt that the room we stayed in was a little bit dated and that it was not as clean as could have been. there were stains on a fabric ottamon at the bottom of the bed and spots of what looked like sauce on one of the wardrobes! however, sheets and bathroom clean. the heated towel rail was not working and there was a piece of the lock to the bathroom left on the side. |

it is a very attractive hotel with good facilities, the staff were helpful and very professional I thought the room that we stayed in was very dated, with wallpaper peeling off the walls. Also paid £27 for a breakfast on Saturday morning, i have to say it was the worst breakfast that i have ever had. These things didnt spoil our stay but if this hotel is a four star in it attractiveness, then id give it a no star for its food. |

We only booked the day before our arrival and when we arrived they had upgraded us to the Bridal Suite which was absolutely huge. The gym & pool area were fab and the staff were all very friendly & helpful. The bed was a bit hard & the place could do with a lick of paint and new carpets but still great value for money and we would definately visit again. |
