Spacious well furnished room, comfortable bed, fine dining. Genuine friendly staff.
Quality of room service much lower than restaurant standard.
Staff were really nice and helpful.. Lovely room and really clean
Very comfortable bedroom. Leisure Suite. Most of the staff gave excellent service. Would stay there again.
Turned up before the 3pm check in. Receptionist Said "room not ready". Did not even ask our names! English breakfast poor for standard of the hotel.
Service and location
Handy for Deeside substation
Felt very welcome when we arrived. Plenty of parking spaces, great and very picturesk! The room was better than excepted, amazing value for money. Will definatly be going back in the new year!
Even though there was smoking facilities there wasn't a lot of lights outside which made it very dark but other than that the hotel was perfect
Lovely hotel. Nice location even though the sat nav took me to a nursing home near by. Friendly staff who were accommodating to my needs.
Breakfast was pricey
Gorgeous place, lovely staff, great spa, bedroom was lovely!
Couldn't get signal on my phone in the bedroom
Beautiful setting, lovely clean room, helpful staff. Pool area was great.
The staff were lovely and friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. The spa was very relaxing.
The food was of poor quality.
Got a decent price-reduced deal, so was much better than the alternative (Holiday Inn XP). Large room and bathroom were excellent. Only a one-night stop, but was very pleasant, and much more than just a place to sleep. We would definitely stay again.
A welcome pack in the room would have been useful. Advertising Free Wifi is a bit of a stretch - we were told it didn't work in the rooms, but would be OK if we came and stood near the fire in the lounge.
Friendly, helpful staff, Fab facilities, lovely setting and treatment. It was all just perfect, thank u so much
Time went too quickly!!
Visit spoilt by uncomfortable pillows
The room was lovely and spacious and the bathroom was also! I think it must have been recently decorated but the reception staff were useless to check out they have one computer so there was queue of people at 11am coming out of the reception are in to the Goya and down the hall. The woman on reception could not cope and I turn was rude to hotel guests that were asking what was going on.
The queue of hotel guests from reception to the foya and then down the hall to the courtyard (I swear this is the truth) of people just trying to check out! Check out! The woman on reception could not cope at checkout and In turn was rude to some of the hotel guests that were asking what was going on. So be ware to add at least 45mins to check out and not to ask why els the hotel staff act like you have insulted them and are then I turn extremely rude! Pay a tenner more and stay somewhere els.
Charming staff, excellent accomodation
The entrance was very badly sign posted and lit up so difficult to find
Room was gorgeous, comfy bed, lovely bathroom. Very clean and had a fantastic view from our balcony.
Spa changing rooms were a bit dirty and smelt in places!
Overall we had a great stay and would definitely re-visit.
The breakfast was cooked to order which is great however the food was cold when it arrived. Apart from that everything was fine.
We thought a suite was large and had all the facilities we needed.
We asked for a King size bed but they could not provide one.
Room service very slow Limited selection of beers in bars Over-priced, expensive
Having booked a spa treatment for a colleague as a birthday surprise we had to rearrange the timing due to their availability. The hotel staff were gracious and accommodating (even to moving our afternoon tea to the spa).
Everything! Could not ask for a better stay.
If i have to be picky, maybe a spin dryer in the leisure centre!
Clean large rooms, very nice building.
Food is a disgrace, I wouldn't give the burger or wings to my dog. Eat them cause I had drunk a pint so couldn't move else where and travelled long way to get there and was very hungry. Food and presentation of Food is a major let down. Barman hadn't a clue. Asked me if I'd like my starter and main together?
The gym and pool are fab! Shower and bath were really good, Good picture on TV and good size Big carpark so parking was no problem Lovely greeting at reception Great location especially for shopping.
Lots of bugs about the hotel, we even saw a nest. Small Bathroom window was broken and so wouldn't close at all this made the bathroom cold but when we made the staff aware they informed us they would sort it. Bar was small and lifeless, but Chester was really close for good bars etc.
This place was brilliant can't wait to return staff are so friendly polite and happy to help with whatever you want.
The breakfast is bit pricey £16.25 for a full English.
