Soiled/stained carpet in bedroom. Every floorboard creaked. Dull, worn and chipped decoration. Gloomy room.
food was bad wifi bad needs repair
Very convenient location, friendly staff, excellent value for money
photos don't match the reality, very old facilities, shower not working, dirty walls, broken bed
Downstairs dining areas goog and great continental breakfast
Bed very uncomfortable and carpet in room stained. Room also uncomfortably hot all night.
dirty wallpaper and beds, staines on the cieling, fusty smell in the bathroom
Excellent staff, room was spotless, couldn't ask for more really. 10/10
The lifts a bit shoddy but not of much concern
Staff were great, its clean and all no smoking.

central location, easy parking
room very very hot enamel scrapped-off bath
freindly staff nice room good location
only booked this hotel for the leisure facilities, was not informed on them closing and they were still advetised in the brochure in the room. room was nice but way too hot.
location to town very good, bathroom very new and clean. large room & cummfy. nice 4 poster, good continental breakfast
lot of traffic noise from by pass road with windows in open position didnt stop sleep though !
Cost in line with facilites. Bed was comfortable and staff were pleaant and helpful.
Room was hotto point that sleep was affected.I did notfind the fan, which would have helped the lack of air circulation until the morning! The shower was a bitof a disaster, the hot water was dangerously hot; hot enogh to scauld. the mixing tap for the shower, did not mix! The hot water shut off the cold resulting in a scaulding flow. I fell in the bath avoiding being caulded.
Close to town centre
Handy for town & trains.
Noise from traffic. Place needs a major amount of renovation, looking tired and worn.
How close to the Town centre and Train Station.
Hotel requires a total upgrade. Very poor standard regard furniture, carpets and decor. TV from the dark ages.
Friendly staff, accommodating and flexible. Good dinner and breakfast in a spacious and pleasing dining room.
Excellently situated for all town centre amenities.
Cold toast. Weren't, asked if we were O.K at breakfast
Was surprised to find no TV in the room but other than that hotel was OK if not very creaky!
The location .the price
Although not super smart, this hotel provides everything you need for a cheap stop-over.
Our windows wouldn't open very wide. Health and safety probably!
entrance, Lobby and ok bed
where to start! room : only hotel I have stopped in over the last 5 years who still have crt tvs, which was of poor quality. Very creaky floor, I would hate to have the room beneath mine. Bath was the enamel type which showed a lot of wear. Toilet seat, although having a band on saying it had been sanertised, was disgusting. Ceiling had cracks plastered over.Drab wallpaper and needed a fresh coat of paint on ceiling and skirting.
Bar and breakfasty.
Location to town lift to floors
No leisure facilities(pool/gym) although advertised television not working and not resolved by staff. Toilet seat not clean(urine stained yellow) booking for breakfast wrong breakfast cold when served
It is convenient for the town centre. I have been coming here for 20 years but it has gone into rapid decline.
where to start? Didn`t like: asking for two adjacent quiet rooms and ending up with two noisy non adjacent rooms floodlit from the train station through flimsy curtains Didnt like: getting up at 5.45 am to go to the gym advertised on the booking.com website and publicised in the hotel room to find it had gone bankrupt and hadnt existed for four months; didnt like: paying for breakfast and then the hotel ran out of eggs (how can a hotel run out of eggs?) and croissants; didnt like: checking my credit card bill three weeks later and finding the hotel had charged £100 which - it turned out - was because they had confused us with another guest who asked for adjacent rooms didnt like: the "everything is too much trouble" attitude of the staff. didnt like: to see a hotel I have been coming to for 20 years in such decline, everything miserly and spread thinly, obviously struggling to survive in the face of competition from much better hotels which have opened in the last few years. I will be staying at the Casa next time and recommend you do the same.
