The chef catered very well for my variety of food intolerances
Simon radley restaurant a delight, afternoon tea was fantastic and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The service we recieved was worth paying that bit extra for.
Only a minor thing but the room was cold and air conditioner made a loud noise.
The hotel is centrally located in Chester. The staff are very attentive, but discreet, never overpowering. The Spa was amazing and the girls extremely pleasant, making a relaxed atmosphere.
Thermal suite a little disappointing, very small. Our room 314 a little tired looking, we have stayed at least 3 times and this was the worst room we have been given.
The attention to detail applied by the hotel and staff : )
The bed was slightly to soft for myself and my partner. Not a huge issue, it's just personal preference
Quality and standard of service
Noisy a/c fan;if switched off room gets cold very quickly. As a result,we didn't have a good night sleep.
The staff were very attentive, friendly and welcoming. The facilities were incredible and the hotel is in a great location. The afternoon tea is excellent great value for money.
Great location in town centre, lovely hotel room everything in there that you needed, staff very efficient on arrival
Wasn't really anything I didn't like exempt for the bar man who served us in the evening was a bit miserable, the room was to warm making it uncomfortable to sleep and the cooling fan was very noisy
From the minute I arrived until I left it. Was very special , I will certainly come back. Worth every penny.
The hotel's central location in Chester.
Hotel was difficult to get to by car and they didn't provide adequate guidance on how to get there. Room was disappointing. Cold to start with, shower deficient and fridge door was broken.
Only thing we didn't like was the small thin toast at breakfast haha apart from that hotel and staff were perfect
Great food. Service so attentive yet discreet. A bed we didn't want to get out of in the most beautiful clean highly maintained room
Only that we weren't there for longer !!!!!
Loved the rooms and comfy beds. Service was great. Massage was perfect
I was a little disappointed there was no pool or jacuzzi
The room, the bed, the massages, the tasting menu, the wine........everything really. Friendly, helpful staff, overlooking the Eastgate Clock! Wonderful!!
The staff are very courteous and attentive and the atmosphere of the whole hotel is lovely.
I took my boyfriend here for a surprise weekend away for his birthday and it was absolutley amazing. The staff were friendly and ready to help with anything or any problems. The bed was extremely comfy which was just what we needed. The hotel itself was perfectly situated close to the walls and shops as well as a short walk to the river.
Beautiful building Beautiful rooms Amazing location! Great restaurants in the hotel Comfortable Quiet and Luxurious Doormen Affordable minibar Delicious breakfast Cleaning staff
After paying 500EUR for two nights, I am charged 50EUR for Spa usage, are you a 5 star hotel? Most staff is knowledgeable yet charmless, almost rude and made me feel unwelcome They attempted to charge me for breakfast although it was included in the room Internet is patchy and unreliable
Nothing was a problem
Was all good
The attention to our every comfort and how the staff were all very helpful!! and careing
Room was cold Had to pay extra for breakfast Took us 40 mins to find car park than we had to pay extra
loved everything, the staff, the room, the bathroom, the breakfast, everything was faultless. Very beautiful hotel.
The walls were very thin, I could hear the room above us talking, walking, flushing the toilet, running the shower and having sex, very disappointing, but the staff did everything to make our stay perfect after we had to call down to reception at midnight to get our neighbours to be quiet.
maybe a little more flexibility with the bar menu in the evening.
