No tea and coffee in room. You have to order from room service and be charged extra. They added gratuties to bill without asking.

It was a fantastic experience, the hotel itself was most excellent, the staff fiirst class and the food out of this world!

The excellent reception and courteous staff throughout our short stay .The (head) doorman remembered my name throughout our stay , which is a touch always appreciated .and is certainly high up in the ''feel good'' department !

Whilst I appreciate that my laundry was handed in on a Friday afternoon and returned on Saturday extremely well done and presented , I found the £43.00 cost on the high side . No drycleaning was involved.

The efficiency of the staff on arrival and departure was excellent.

The only thing I thought was unreasonable, was that there was not a kettle/tea bag/coffee in the room, every other hotel I have stayed in, and for the same price, has that as standard. I think the price for the room is reasonable, but £5.00 for coffee each time is not.

Everything about this hotel is 5 star right down to the smallest detail. The best small hotel I've stayed in bar none.

We couldn't get a signal on the very nice bose radio as it didn't have an ariel, also the expensive tv system wasn't set up for widescreen which meant you were losing some of your picture. Minor detail but niggly

The personal attention given whilst I was there. It was my 40th birthday and I got a personal note delivered under the door from the manager who checked us in.

We found the staff both friendly and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed the meal in the Michelin starred restaurant, and found that the food served in La Brasserie was also to a very high standard. The room was extremely comfortable, and we had the best nights sleep for quite some time. We were particularly impressed with the quality of the television.

I would have liked tea making facilities in the room. The hot water was too hot to allow me to wash my hands under the running tap.

The luxury, the state of the deorations and cleanliness of the rooms. The breakfast service was excellent.

The location is perfect - right in the City Centre - and the 5 star treatment was there as soon as we arrived with our bags being whisked off in one direction while our car was parked for us!

The walls were very thin - much thinner than I would expect for a 5 star hotel - and we had a poor nights sleep due to a business meeting being held in the next room until 4 am!
