Excellent hotel, great service, well worth the money, if you get chance a meal at Simon radley at the grosvenor is a must .

My beautifully appointed room at the front of the hotel. Very efficient and friendly staff. Good breakfast.

There was nothing to dislike.

Lovely hot water in bathroom. Blissfully comfortable bed. Quiet air conditioning that works in bedroom! Food in brasserie was lovely.

No tea/coffee facilities in bedroom. I know you could have it delivered to the room but I prefer the flexibilty of making my own as and when.

We loved everything about this hotel! We went to Old Trafford to see a Man Utd game & wish we drove to Manchester from Chester as our hotel was gorgeous, the comfort, food, cocktails, location truly superb. The best!

Gourmet restaurant; fresh milk brought to room;

Finding it - put street into GPS and drove half a mile beyond car park entrance, had to get reception to guide me in - perhaps problem with GPS, which does not use post codes, rather than hotel. I'll find it next time will be staying regularly over at least next six years

The location could not be better and the staff excellent

The room was small and the bed and duvet poor. Breakfast and afternoon tea overpriced

The luxury style of the hotel, every bit of this hotel is beautiful, great service and never felt looked after better anywhere else,the hotel staff ever.are amazing.

as the hotel is right at the heart of chester city center, for friday and saturday night the noise from OUTSIDE is a bit too loud, and you will hear all the passing by paries.

Fantastic hotel, very friendly staff that can't do enough for you. Very luxurious rooms with all mod cons. Situated in the heart of the city for shopping and sightseeing.

Prohibitively expensive (but value for money) and so a stay will be a rare treat.

Everything about the Chester Grosvenor is better than excellent! This is not the first time my husband and I have stayed at this hotel, and certainly will not be the last time either.

lack of restaurant choices - needs to have something between the Brassiere and the Gourmet restaurant

Pubic hair on the bath side which was still there when the room and bathroom were cleaned in the evening

Very warm welcome from car being parked and checking in staff was a forerunner for the rest of the staff. Obviously well trained in customer care.

An all round excellent hotel, with friendly efficient and super quiet staff. A very peaceful atmosphere at all times even during a fire alarm motivated evacuation.

Quite a dodgy drive along an approach road that people apparently think is a footpath.

the two hours i spent circling chester trying to find the right route to the front door. In 60 years in many large cities i have never experienced such a nightmare trying to reach my destination.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay in pure luxury , room was wonderful the staff were always very polite and helpful in a perfect location on the high street this is 5 star luxury

Thought the breakfast was very poor and didn't bother the 2 nd morning the drinks in the bar are expensive but overall a wonderful hotel if you want luxury !!
