Quite, food (with good Gluten Free options), facilities, staff, location
Staff were very pleasant and friendly
We were in room 206 and Double beds in hotels in this day and age are just too small, most hotels I stay in have queen or king size beds, as we do at home, The bed was also very uncomfortable and affected my wife's back so she sat up all night
The helpfulness of the staff, especially in reception. We use this hotel about 5 times a year, it feels like coming home. A member of staff usually recognises us and gives us a good welcome which is much appreciated . Thank you Laura Appleby in particular.
entrance to the hotel was dark and dismal.
Rook size, we had a double and the room / bathroom were of a good size with plenty of space. Double bed was very comfortable and a good size. Easy short walk into Chester town. Helpful staff.
Minor point, however the temperature in the hotel corridors was like a sauna, far to warm.
The decor was fine liked the big mirror, the dressing gowns slippers water were great additions the location was brill the reception area bar and lifts were clean bright and the decor was great. Reception small guy was lovely.
Room 106- duvet was very lumpy if you hold it up to the light you could see where all the filling was bunched together super lumpy and weird. Bed was hard for me and pillows too high but I worked in a hotel and I know people are always fussy about the mattresses etc so sometimes can't be helped. There was no tea in my room so I had to ask, the chamber maid wasn't particularly friendly she didn't smile or anything. The sofa bed looked abit grubby.
Rooms were very clean with all the mod cons.....
Bit a a wait for breakfast in the morning due to volume of people but worth the wait.
The upgrade to a suite
Friendly staff especially breakfast team great room Parking on site leisure facilities use of club room short walk to Weatherspoons
very average food
room too hot bed too small
Friendly and helpful staff, Large room, comfortable beds, no noise from within the hotel or from outside. Quiet air conditioning. Excellent breakfast.
Nothing to dislike.

Facilities, catering, and a great room
Booked the executive room and was pleasantly surprised, at check in that the use of the executive lounge was included. Complementary alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, canapés and snack included. Lovely room, sheets and towels. Top notch all round.
Paying for the car park.

Exellent hotel the staff were wonderful very welcoming nothing was to much trouble. We will definitely be returning in the future.
I thought £250 for two nights was high for a Thursday and Friday! The Seating at Breakfast was a bit of a joke as well, we were told to wait 5min (which was fine) but then other customers just walked in and got served before other people waiting
