Mercure Chester East Hotel  

The room was lovely and the leisure facilities were great. The location was perfect right next to the park and ride for chester, and the food was good. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The staff were friendly, courteous and competant.Loved the Spa.The hotel was clean, bright and well placed to travel into Chester. Real bargin for money and we will definatly stay at a Mercure hotel again.

Ok there was one tiny tiny thing, it should really have free internet in bedrooms as it was a bit of a pain carrying my lap top into the bar area to answer my important emails and to charge 11.99 per hour if I wanted to use the service from my room was never going to happen .

Having stayed before at Mercure, we knew we would enjoy the facilities at the hotel and the fact that we can get into Chester in a very short time, our grandson loves to stay at the hotel and enjoys how the staff interact with him, the food is always excelant and the staff very friendly. would come gain and we have recomended the hotel to our family.

Room was too warm; couldn't get any hot water out of the shower (somebody had left it on before we got there - might have something to do with the water pressure issues they were having?). Bar too expensive for our tastes.

Great location just outside Chester. Park and ride next to hotel so you don't have to worry about trying to park. Lovely spa and gym. Excellent value for money and very friendly staff.

What a great hotel and so near to Chester just catch the Park and Drive right next door . The Meals at the hotel was First Class cant wait to stay again, And would tell anone about this Hotel get your self a weekend their you will not be sorry.

The atmosphere and the environment was exceptional and the staff were extremely helpful and professional, really enjoyed my stay and would go back to a mercure anytime

Reception were very nice and informative. Clean and cheap hotel, bit of a bargain really. Walls a little thin considering it was a family room and I had two under 5 year olds with me but I hope we didn;t keep anyone awake! That said they put us on a corner so at least we only had one ajoining wall. Breakfast was nice and complete, good job there too.

I did mention to reception that the room was boiling hot, windows open above the sheets hot. She said that the central heating was actually off and this was the heat from the hot water pipes heating the building. The problem was that we were ground floor and the windows opened fully so we didn;t want to leave them open all night. Just boiled then.... My first choice of drink at the bar was out of stock and the bar tender got my second choice wrong. As it was poured I said I would take it to help him out although I didn't expect him to charge me the much higher price of that glass in return of the favour

Very friendly staff, very helpful. very close to center (in car). Very clean rooms Very nice bar and dining area over looking the garden, very romantic.

lighting in bedrooms and bathroom very poor, even will all bulbs working!
