We liked the location of the hotel, it was not in the town centre but this could be easily accessed via the park and ride facility nearby, or by a short walk. |

I have stayed in 2 Ramada hotels both having the same high level of service. The staff at the Ramada Chester were polite, friendly & helpfull.Food was first class, must say breakfast was one of the best I have had. Room was clean, warm & comfy. Gym & pool were fun. If I had to find fault I would say the TV could of been in a better position. |

The staff were very friendly and polite The room we stayed in 203 was small, the bathroom very small and the floorboards were horendously sqeeky which was extreamly annoying not just for us but any one adjacent or below I would suspect! The building looks to be a pre-fab construction, decor is a little tired for a 4 star rating, that said clean comfey and breakfast was great, bit out of the way from City center, good for overnight stays. |

I felt the room was too small for the price we paid, it wasn't clean, the kettle was disgusting and we could see a stain at the bottom of the bed. We had to leave at 5.30 in the morning without breakfast as the person next door was snoring all night and we'd had no sleep. |

Pool, spa jacuzzi steam room, sauna etc. rooms fairly big. breakfast buffet, 24hr room service food and drinks expensive- but this is expected of a hotel |

One positive thing is location - on outskirts so easily accessible but right next to efficient park and ride bus service into Chester (do not recommend trying to take own car into centre of Chester!) Despite booking a double room, was given a twin room - currently following this up separately as staff unable to change. Feel of building - dark and dingy corridors and felt very temporary - is a pre-fab pod type construction. Snack menu in bar was unavailable meaning staff tried to guide us onto full restaurant menu (we'd been unable to use as 2-3 hour wait for proper restaurant). Staff did not seem particularly on the ball. Not a positive experience! |

It was a pleasant stay, however I did find the room very warm during the night which meant it was difficult to sleep and as we were on the ground floor it was not possible to open the windows. Also the weather outside was very cold and icy and the car park had not been gritted which made walking very dangerous, but there was a small sign in the foyer warning of the very icy car park. |

we had booked twin rooms and could book in at 2pm. but we didnt get there until 7pm and one of our rooms was not ready and we had been but in double rooms we managed to get it changed after a while of waiting but then were on different floors from each room. the hotel staff said it was booking.com fault this happened twin rooms arent guaranteed even if you book them |

For the price, the room was small and when we walked in the window was left open and the central heating radiator was turned off. there is no lift and we had to carry our bags up the stairs. |

The hotel was very clean there was nothing we didnt like but we were slightly disappointed with our room.We have quite a few weekend breaks a year and always stay in a premier inn. We decided to go for a little bit of luxury this time but were amazed that the room was nowhere near the standard of the premiers, it was small, the floors were very creaky, in our room and in the corridor outside and we could hear the man next door snoring. |

definitely not the bedroom. it is not at all what you see on the picture when you book. the bathroom was horrible, i rarely saw it this old fashion. the room was depressing. |

The location was convenient to get to chester with the park and ride down the road, and the main entrance and bar area was very nice. The room was small and cramped. The food was much to be desired, don't think I have ever had such a watery and tasteless spaghetti carbonara in my life! And the prices of food and drink were shocking for the quality received! |

The bed was comfortable. The hotel was like a very poorly constructed concrete box - all the floorboards creaked and I woke up every time someone walked down the corridor past the room. The shower was cold, and when I mentioned this on checkout, I didn't get so much as an apology. The breakfast selection was very poor for a hotel that costs this much - it all had a 'budget hotel' feeling rather than the Ramada standard that we expected and paid for. |
