Swimming pool. Bar.
Lack of cupboard space in bedroom
Nice pool and gym, excellent selection at breakfast and very good location.
Would have liked a little more space in the family room and some wardrobe or drawer space for clothes and luggage. Staff were unable to provide decafienated teabags in the room so we had to wait until breakfast.
Nothing! Was happy to leave.
The room was pokey and not an upgraded priveledged room that we thought we were paying for. It was too hot and very claustrophobic! Stayed at other mercures. This was by far the worst! Breakfast was a mess on the last day.
2ND BED ROOM OK, BREAKFAST GOOD. IDEAL FOR PARK&RIDE
1ST BEDROOM VERY BASIC AND QUITE APALLING,ALSO VERY SMALL. 2ND BEDROOM NOT CLEANED PROPERLY,TV DIDNT WORK.FAR TO HOT AND SOUND PROOFING NON EXSISTING,MY WIFE AND I WERE KEEPED AWAKE FROM 3PM ONWARDS BY ANTICS BY OUR NEXT DOOR PEOPLE
The bed. The Shower. The Breakfast The location. The Bar. Easy wifi access. The mist free mirror in the bathroom.
1.Cluttered room ( uneccessary furniture ) 2. corridors smelt old 3. no lift 4. the perspex on the walls in the stairwell 5. The rooms were a bit hot even with windows open
room upgraded as we didn't like the one given.
We have stayed here many times and find the hotel central for our needs for visiting Liverpool on the train and chester city and cheshire oaks. The food has always been good.
I paid for a premier room but you need to sound proof the rooms where the windows are close together, if someone jumps on there bed next door, your bed moves.
Good leisure facilities
Bright, clean, modern, helpful staff. Well-equipped.
Flimsy modern construction didn't help with noise.
Location Comfortable room
Everything was brilliant. Great location and eeally pleasant staff
Nothing . Could do with a little bit of decorating
Fast free wifi, great location for what we were doing. Comfy bed, quiet. The house keeper made an elephant from the towels and left it in our little boys cot which I thought was a nice touch.
Bad t.v reception. The bad attitude of the receptionist when checking out made me not want to stay there again. The hotel furnishings were a bit tatty and very dark which made the hotel feel a bit dingy.
Helpful staff, pleasant surroundings, location near to centre of Chester, but far enough away to be quiet & relaxing.
Poor iron, might as well have used a brick. High bar prices.
More help on the bar poor lady was alone and took for ever getting out drinks order ready. Not her fault but she should have had help.
Got all was very good, staff very all very helpful, friendly and polite right down to the cleaners.
Meals and drinks at the bar a little expensive.
Good room service. Good breakfast. Friendly staff
Good bed, plenty of room, good windows, privacy, nice views over the roofs below, next to park n ride, good wifi
Choppy tv signal
LOVELY POOL AREA COMFORTABLE AND SPACIOUS ROOM
BAR STAFF ATTITUDE. UNFRIENDLY.
I arrived at 2.15pm and my room wasn't ready for me and my partner and we had to waiting for a further 30mins. After a 2 1/2 hour drive we were both looking forward to relaxing in our room but we were not able to do so. I also paid a further £20 for us both to have a cooked breakfast the following morning, however the breakfast was a major disappointment, sausages and bacon were cold, potato's were over cooked and our table was disgusting. When this was mentioned to the staff I was told "Well we are busy!" which I felt was unprofessional and rude.
relaxed and easy going good service.
Wifi was very good Location
Dated room. Very creaky floorboards. Thin walls Overpriced
restaurant staff amertaureish
All was ok
Service sometimes a bit slow
The room was good although smelled "musty". The swimming pool and health suite was very good and staff helpful
We thought the restaurant food and service should have been better for the price. The breakfast hot buffet was not particularly good
The staff were very helpful and the food was of a very good standard. Also the hotel was very clean and our room was quality with all the facilities you could ask for. A very good stay all together and will return in the future.
