swimming pool leisure facilities location of hotel breakfast could have been nice but it was cold
the view from the window in room354 a concrete square with air conditioning blocks so couldn't open the windows
Everything was great, wish i could have stayed longer. Will be back
Room was far to hot
Everything was like a run down bed and breakfast
Staff friendly and helpful. Food good
Water flow to bedroom was extremely frustrating. After 10 mins in morning still could only get cold water! Running the bath was frustratingly slow
I booked a breakfast in with price but when arrived was told we had to pay extra
Location to Chester. Shopping just around the corner. Pleasing appearance inside hotel. Car Park.
Wooden floors quite loose and squeaky, especially in the main hallway, very noisy when children running around at late hours.
Quality of service was excellent and food was well cooked to an excellent standard
Simming pool is too hot
Out of date decor and stained carpet
Great location for chester zoo. Massive car park. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The pool and jacuzzi were a great bonus after a long day at Chester Zoo. Buffet breakfast the next day was fantastic and put the full family in great stead for the long day at Cheshire Oaks. We were reluctant to have a evening meal, purely because my 3 year old and 14 month old were tired and twittery. So out of courtesy to other diners, we drove to brewers fayre. Just 5 mins away. Result.
Nice hotel Comfortable bed room Friendly, helpful staff
Location - 2 miles from City centre
Everything could not fault staff very helpfull
Good location close to Chester, excellent value and helpful, courteous staff.
Exterior of hotel building - lacks curb appeal!
Leisure facilities Location
Breakfast Size of room Bathroom fittings were tired and needed replacing Lack of view
Staff in the reception and bar area very helpful Good location, easy to get in and out of town
We liked the location and the good sized car park. The breakfasts were excellent.
We didn't like the lack of storage in the rooms or the 'corporate' feel of the hotel.
It was ok bit pricey for what u got the staff friendly and helpfull
The price of the drink £10 for a large scotch and single vodka and orange £15.82
Too hot and couldn't find controls to turn down heating
Breakfast had quality food
Felt that the hotel could have given more details - such as Breakfast timing within the room - although this was being picky.
Good vale for money. Very efficient and friendly staff.
Lack of storage in bedrooms for clothing etc.
This is a great place to stay really enjoyed it,lovely and helpful staff, the swimming pool and spa are lovely and so are the grounds, breakfast was good,rooms/bathrooms were clean and a good size the bed is lovely,There is a park and ride into Chester just up the road which was great and there is the harvester restaurant down the road which was nice for an evening meal also a lovely gastro pub called the Cheshire cat just up the road a 5 min drive or you can walk to both places, which does lovely food and has nice garden it's abit pricey but well worth it. will come stay here again.
we stayed Wednesday to Sunday and on the Friday and Saturday nights there were a couple of groups of hen and stag party's which in the early hours were abit loud coming in from being out but that was the only bad thing i have to say about this place will stay again tho.
We enjoyed an excellent dinner with a friendly waiter and a vey pleasant view over the garden.
Noise from the nearby trunk road
The staff at this hotel were very friendly and went that extra mile to ensure our needs were met. The breakfast and room service was good and their was a friendly atmosphere in the reception / bar area on both nights.
Only a small hanging space and one drawer for clothes.
