This may be the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The quality of the room was surpassed only by the quality of the service. Absolutely perfect. We didn't want to leave to room to go sightseeing! |

An amazing way to stay in a luxurious suite/apartment in the West End of Edinburgh. The rooms were beautifully designed with all mod cons and we ended up staying in rather than going out on our second night as we didn't want to leave. Staff were wonderful and offered all conveniences we could have hoped for. |

We loved the privacy and the space of the apartment. it was vey clean and "new" looking. Overall, a very nice appartment. When we first arrived, the sockets tripped and we had to iron and use the hair dryer on the landing! Also, there was no air con, and the room was very hot at night, fans would have helped. However, the staff were very helpful and apologetic and this would not deter me from staying again. |

Chester Residence is a truly luxurious place to stay. Every need is catered for and the staff are very helpful. It is handy to the centre of Edinburgh too so we were able to walk to all the attractions. |

I liked the furnishings and fittings. It was very comfortable and user friendy, I liked that there was an ipod attached to a sound system which had pleasant music. I also liked the range of continental breakfast that was made available in the kitchen. |

Excellent location. Central Edinburgh. Beautiful historic building but decorated in very tasteful contemporary style within. Clean, luxurious, good service, value for money. |

rRaymond, the concierge, literally went out of his way to be helpful, and he was also charming and cordial. Definitely made me want to return if and when I am again in Edinburgh. Not a thing.` |

Was the best place I have ever stayed in and would always try for a serviced apartment now over a hotel room; just perfect and had everything we needed. Fantastic quality products (White Company, Alessi, LSA, Dualit, bedding, TVs, iPod dock etc.), staff very friendly and great location. Highly recommend and were very sad to be only staying one night in this gorgeous place. (We had the patio apartment.) |

The apartments were stunning, very clean and well equiped. The fridge was well stocked with fresh fruit and juice and everything you would need for a light/continental breakfast it was a shame to leave. The staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. |

Stayed in the penthouse. The space is fab, fresh and new. Like being in a flat but with hotel service. The breakfast they out in the room was good. Bathroom big and luxurious, amenities in kitchen great. Surround sound system + dvd player. Liked the location and the staff was really nice and helpful. Parking expensive and a 5 min walk away from hotel. |

Enjoyable experience, very clean and beautiful modern design with all the mod-cons. Located in a nice quiet area of Edinburgh as well as being close to the city centre. Even in the penthouse suite, it got quite warm in the heat of summer. The bedroom and bathroom were cleverly located a level below the level of kitchen and living room keeping it cool in the former rooms but still devilishly hot in the latter rooms. Also the continental breakfast was slightly underwhelming. |

The penthouse apartment was very spacious, well decorated and very well equiped. Overall the quality of the accomodation was excellent. During our stay it was exceptionally hot. Perhaps supplying fans could help cool the living areas. |

Excellent spacious apartment with all mod cons..everything was touch screen!! Even a built in television in the bathroom. Nice and plentiful continental breakfast supplied ready in the kitchen..I must add however that due to an admin error I did get this apartment for £99 instead of a much higher rate..so I can't really complain!!! :) The guest parking was rather an inconvenience. I was with a disabled person so had reserved it thinking it would be nearby..it wasn't. Plus it cost £15 and they only have 2 spaces! Apparently they are working on this problem but can't find anywhere nearer. To be fair though, the concierge was very helpful and carried luggage etc both ways to the car.. |

We loved staying at the Chester Residence! The flat was beautiful, plenty of room for our family of four. The location was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. My kids (ages 17 and 21) loved the video selection and enjoyed a few nights in with take-away for dinnner. It was nice to relax after alway being on the go. My daughter is considering going to university in Scotland, so we look forward to visiting again! We have already told others about your wonderful hotel! There were only a couple of things we found lacking. One was the lack of air conditioning, which is probably only needed a couple of weeks per year, if that! But a couple of fans would have been great, especially in the front bedroom facing the street. If the kids opened the windows to try to cool off the room, it was too noisy from traffic to sleep well. Also, the light that comes in from the hallway (because of the huge glass wall) at night really lights up the flat. You can't leave your bedroom door open to let air circulate because it lets in too much light. Maybe frosting the glass wall halfway up wouldn't be so bad either, it would afford more privacy but still allow a view of the lovely stairway ceiling! These were minor inconviences that would in no way keep us from staying here again or stop us from highly recommeding it to others. |
