I've stayed at Chesters before when I go to visit my son who is at college in Manchester so I am in and out, not spending much time at the hotel. I was disappointed this time. My husband came with me (I usually travel alone) and we had a room at the top which was tacky, noisy and hot. It hasn't put me off because usually the rooms are fine and good value. There is always a parking space, there is a bar and restaurant on site so it is perfect for a non-hassle really short break.

I requested a double room and was upgraded to a suite at no extra cost forr £29.00 which was excellent value for money. Also the reception staff was very friendly, would definetely stay there again.

The staffs are friendly, they have nice breakfast, the best location for the football game at Old Trafford stadium. It takes only 5 minutes to walk from the stadium to the hotel. Only problem is noise by old wooden floor. It is noisy even a guest of up room walk to toilet in the midnight. Internet is not connectable from our room, but from reception area.

Excellent location with a 15 minute walk to the Salford Quays and the Lowery Center. Less than 5 minutes to Old Trafford Football Ground. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Cooked breakfast was enjoyable.

Very convenient to the business premises I visited. Easy to get to by tram and bus. Locals knew of it and where it was. Ask for a quite room on upper floors as one side facing busy main road. Very clean, good food plus friendly staff.
