Chevin Country Park Hotel

The location was very pleasant and excellent for walking/hiking. The food was very good.

Some rooms were rather dark with not much natural light. Bed rather hard.

The accommodation and the leisure facilities, in lovely surroundings, were very pleasureable. All staff were very pleasant and helpful.

I came to the hotel with my partner for a weekend treat and just stayed the one night.We found the staff very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the leisure facilities and were able to use them after we had checked out. Hotel staff allowed us to set up a bbq outside our cabin which was great. We really liked the cabin-style room, it was very cosy and setting/surroundings were lovely.

The chair in the room was a bit dirty and the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable.My partner and I used the gym facilites but it was very small for more than a few people.

We stayed b efore flying out on holiday, we were flying early so staff provided a very nice continental breakfast, room was nice and clean, we enjoyed our stay.

It was very relaxing , we were lucky to have great weather and could make the most of the beautiful surroundings .

It could do with a bit of a face lift

it was a nice friendly atmosphere however i didn't have time to see all the facilities as we had to be out of our room at 11 we managed to get it for good value however i think £120 for a standard double is expensive

no the hotel was lovely wish i could have seen more i would not have paid £120 for a standard double but then again i didnt get to go into the spa area

unique back drop and log cabin design. Lovely peaceful location and relaxing.

The spa/ pool was a little disappointing - not very luxurious - very basic.

Rooms were clean, comfortable and quite spacious. Very pleasant setting and lovely countryside nearby.

Coal fire by reception was a welcoming sight, but smelt really smoky.

This is a novel place - only a couple of mins from the Airport it really is fun with its Norse chalet look. The food is very good and the bar is well stocked. The rooms are comfortable and it is convenient - especially for business travel

The use of sealants in the bathroom was a bit amateurish and although it was quite compact it was definitely cosy and well appointed Don't be put off by reviews complaining about temperature and space - the staff will go out of their way to ensure your comfort and did with me

insuficient hot water !!!!........bed uncomfortable.......place has become tired.

Installed central heating system is out of service; heating is by convector heater. Plumbing is tired. Poor bar food menu
