The location, the comfortable bed, the romance of feeling you were sleeping in a stable!

hot water pressure , no 'extra's like face cloths, dish cloth, etc

Very friendly owner, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast. The Wi-Fi was fast and easy to connect. Plenty of parking. Extremely quiet.

The TV was a bit small and could have been in a better position.

We were also contacted prior to our arrival by the owner asking if everything was alright and if we would be requiring food on our arrival. The owner, who was very friendly, she met us as we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable with a very large bed and on suite shower. We did not have an evening meal but the breakfasts on both mornings were excellent, the owner couldn't have been more accommodating. We would highly recommend The Chilli Pepper to families, couples and people on business. I feel that anyone visiting the Chilli Pepper would be made to feel very welcome.

Welcoming and very helpful owner and staff. Warm and clean during a very cold English Spring. Fresh fruit available every day. A wonderful offer by the owner to pick us up from a visit to a nearby relative.

I loved the fresh and delicious breakfast, and the friendly and professional service provided by the landlady Leela. Also the peace and quiet of the country location and beauty of the village.

I found the accommodation a bit spartan, but clean and well-maintained.

Room 1 Room: Clean, Tidy, warm and welcoming. Shower Room: Clean, plenty of hot water, very powerful shower. Bed: Comfy, Clean, Lovely warm soft duvet. TV: Freeview channels Kitchen: Fridge (milk provided by owners) and good choice of hot drinks tray. Clean, tidy. Location: Easy to find, peaceful village location, Good signage, private parking area. Felt very safe. Owners / Staff: Very friendly and welcoming. Introduced self on arrival which was nice, then left to enjoy stay. Breakfast: Very well presented, tasty full english breakfast serve in onsite bar/restaurant. Friendly staff very attentive to detail. 5 minutes drive to Cotswold Wildlife Park ** Would recommend a visit here ** Burford Village 10 minutes drive very nice for afternoon tea. Thank you very much will look forward to visiting again in the future.

There were not really any negatives as we really enjoyed our stay and will definatly recommend to friends and family. TV had slight fault that while watching it would automatically turn volume down, so you couldnt hear it. Then would suddenly turn volume back up on its own. Very minor problem and didnt detract from stay at all.

Location was very convenient for a planned reunion with friends. It was quiet we were left to make ourselves at home and nothing was too much bother. Breakfast was ideal. much nicer than staying in commercial places.

Very personal attention and manner of the lone staff I met was exceptional. Continuos communication until you arrive safely because hotel is in a small village. Then quick calls to check you are okay. The room I stayed in was clean and tidy with no residual smell of cigarettes or alcohol. Fantastic.

We were contacted prior to our arrival by the owner asking if everything was alright and did we require food as we could have chosen an evening meal at Chilli Pepper. As we arrived, we were met by the owner, who was very friendly, she showed us to our room and then came back with some fresh milk for tea/coffee and some chocolates. The room was very cosy/comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, served by friendly staff and the owner. We have recommended Chilli Pepper to our friends/family and hope to stay ourselves again.

Building great, owners lovely, food very good.

Broadwell itself seemed dead: we'd hoped at least for a pub. We ended up going up at 9.00 pm after dinner. And couldn't even work out how to put the tv on! They were only 3 weeks open when we went: I hope in the future the Chili Pepper itself becomes a local hub, and that E.G. more people use the restaurant. Perhaps the owners could use the space to double up as a bar, too?

The food and service was excellent although the dinner was quite expensive.

A beautiful location in a lovely village. Clean, comfortable and welcoming.

The set up is small so it is much more a B&B feel than a hotel type environment.
