Wanted an extra £10 for a later check out ( 1 hour and 30 minutes extra ) thats quarter of the price i paid for a twin room for one night
Close to beach
Nothing at all the place was filthy, and the floorboards were broken!!!
Everything the place was just awful I almost came home !!!
The hotel / Room was Clean.
Room very small and tight for space. You couldnt put anything in the wardrobe as it was fit to fall over. For £55 i would of expected Bed & Breakfast but Breakfast wasnt included.
Having to pay for towels
Very small rooms Bed not comfortable Room had a strange smell
Room was cramped the beds were old and decrepit springs coming through the mattress
sea view with large on suit bathroom, bed was clean and comfortable.
Very good sized family room, plenty of space. Lovely sea view.
On the front, busy road traffic noise all night. No towels in the room, and breakfast not included. Only one light source in the room with no shade made the light in the room very sharp.
Landlady was very accommodating in allowing us to leave our luggage in a locked room after we had checked out of our rooms. This allowed us to enjoy the last few hours of our stay free of bags etc.
There was no lift in the house, no free towels the complimentary toiletries consisted of one soap each (no shower gel etc.). The bed was very uncomfortable it squeaked and creaked every time I moved. The whole house was like a rabbit warren with many stairs and corridors. Tea and coffee making facilities were there but without milk! The chair in my room was ready to collapse-an accident waiting to happen. there was not enough heating in my room.
Disgusting the view from the windows was a rubbish tip dirty nappies and rubbish everywhere doors with gaps so big you could see under them as you walked up the stairs the smell of damp hit you as soon as we walked in the door bedding not changed in the three days we were there no towel's that we did pay extra for carpets had cigarette burns all over them.WOULD NOT GO BACK NOT EVEN A MAYBE
We were right on the beach front and walking distance to both the tower and pleasure beach.
There were no towels and we had to ask for toilet rolls. Also on booking it stated that the hotel took credit card but on arrival I was expected to pay the remainder of the balance by cash.
it was close to the sea front
Although the bedding was clean, the rest of the room left a lot to be desired. There was chewing gum on the radiator which i got all over my coat when i put it on there to dry. I had to ask for towels and more toilet roll. The beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on - you could feel every spring and lump. Even my 6 year old complained that she couldn't sleep because of it. I certainly will avoid it in the future.
Hotel was friendly n rooms was what u paid for. Beds was comfy n was warm. Location was good close to the tower n piers.
Parking was a pain to find but football stadium car park was bout 15min walk away from hotel. Stayed over night in there for £10.
The location was good for access to south pier
When we arrived there was no parking nearby, the staff were un-helpful and to say facilities in the bedroom were lacking is an understatement. It was literally 'beds in a room', no towels, toilet roll holders/shelving in the bathroom, not enough cups for the number of people in the room and don't forget £10 for the remote which is however refundable. However if it's just 'a bed' for the night that is needed the location for walking to the front is good.
No parking, no dining, only powdered milk in room and walls paper thin (chalk board)
Location excellent. Cheap and cheerful. No frills.
Door wouldn't lock properly. No towels.
The location was the best part of our whole stay
The attitude from the staff was awful, there was no parking and had to park by the tower, when we got to our room it was like a box you could touch both walls if you stretched your arms, we had people screaming arguing in the next room all night so we asked for another room to be told 'no you should of told us you wanted a quiet room' I'm sorry but we didn't pay £60 to be kept awake by other people all night never mind the horrible springs stuck in my back all night!!
Friendly landlady and clean sheets and towels.
Having to pay £1 per towel, carrying cases up 2 flights of stairs, requested a sea view room, which if you stood on the bed and cricked your neck, you could only just see and it was very basic and more like a hostel.
• The walls are paper thin • The mattress was lumpy • No TV remote so had to stand on bed & feel top of TV for buttons • Tiny shower • Better value available.
Good location centrally, plenty of shops and food places. Generally clean however slight smell from bathroom ventilation.
Noisy in the morning having new furniture delivered at 730 one morning, then guests arguing the next day. TV very small on wall.
I like the location
I didn't get the room when I booked which was disappointing and the fact that the rooms were tiny.
No where to hang even a jacket limited floor space felt I was tripping over my bags all the time. If quiet they shut the family room and bar had a very disappointed boy on our last night. A few hooks on wall in room and bathroom would help. Bed felt springs in my back all night!!
Good location. Easy to find.
Had to pay extra for towels. Bed was super uncomfortable
