Location excellent. Cheap and cheerful. No frills.
Door wouldn't lock properly. No towels.
• The walls are paper thin • The mattress was lumpy • No TV remote so had to stand on bed & feel top of TV for buttons • Tiny shower • Better value available.
Good location centrally, plenty of shops and food places. Generally clean however slight smell from bathroom ventilation.
Noisy in the morning having new furniture delivered at 730 one morning, then guests arguing the next day. TV very small on wall.
I like the location
I didn't get the room when I booked which was disappointing and the fact that the rooms were tiny.
No where to hang even a jacket limited floor space felt I was tripping over my bags all the time. If quiet they shut the family room and bar had a very disappointed boy on our last night. A few hooks on wall in room and bathroom would help. Bed felt springs in my back all night!!
Good location. Easy to find.
Had to pay extra for towels. Bed was super uncomfortable
Arrived and the lady said parking was on a first come first serve basis. Room was a bit dusty. Wasn't worth £72, better value at Premier Inn.
2 min walk to the manchester tram stop.
pub close by to loud with music. first night stay was bad,got woken up 3 times with couples coming in from partying at 5am.police and people banging doors ect.not a good place if u are taking children with you.big hole by side of toilet.dirt in the bathroom light.no remoote for tv.skirting boards need to be put back on.
I think we were lucky enough to get the best room in the hotel, don't think the others would be as nice after what I had previously read. Room was very bib with sea view and sheets etc were clean. Bathroom was ok, good shower. Location is fab. Lady running the hotel was pleasant enough with us.
Don't listen to the reviews not bad at all! Had no problems what so ever clean and basic! But what do you expect for £45pn. There's a charge for towels so take your own and you don't need a remote for tv just press the buttons on top. It's straight on the seafront so 15min walk each way to either town or pleasure beach. If struggling for parking, park in the football car park(opposite ground) 5min walk away. And £12 for 48hours!
it was clean and tidy
the receptionist had a attitude and very rude. no where to park we parked miles away. no heater in the room so was very cold. the sink only emptied when u flushed the toilet poor fixture and fittings. very noisy not for a family, we had fighting outside our room and he was smashing his room up took forever for someone to sort it out and that was the police that came this was our first night we asked for our money back and we would go somewhere else she bluntly refused and said go if u want to go! had no sleep what so ever. very poor on every aspect never again!!!
Near the sea
Noisey at night
Good location, bed linen very clean, requested sea/front view got exactly what we asked for,
got no sleep due to other guest been loud. not value for money stayed at other hotels in Blackpool which were cheaper and included breakfast
the only positive is the location to the sea front.
they say you get what you pay for! well dont think that even comes close. Room had a wardrobe with no hangers and was broken leaning against the wall. only one plug socket in the room so the wife needed to remove the wall mirror from the wall to the other side of the room to get ready in the evenings. What can i say about the bed but it should have been thrown away some time ago and not used to cripple your guests. I will just add this otherwise I will go on forever complaining...stay at your own risk!
Location wasn't bad Room wasn't dirty Good size little room Quite hotel inside
Booked online and printed confirmation, when we got there woman at desk said the card got declined and we hadn't booked room, didn't get no email or phone call to say this so had to pay again in cash. Very bad Bed was thin mattress and not comfy, 2 very small flat pillows! And the worst thing the room stunk! Very bad from the en suite bathroom would be borking going the toilet had tiny window in the room open wide as we could and smell didn't go
Very cheap, rooms were good for the price paid. Basic but clean
No towels, had to pay for them! No hairdryer No complimentary shampoo or shower gel
The staff were friendly and helpful
Very basic rooms not very secure. Its just a place to lay your head down nothing more nothing less
Dirty, disrepair, noisy, faulty shower, small room, felt every spring in the bed bug ridden mattress, run down. Never ever again. Please do not recommend this hotel to nice decent people...
The location was close to the main bit if blackpool.
We were shocked to see the state of our room, it smelt of damp as soon as we walked in, the bedding was dirty, there was a hole in the bottom of the bathroom door, the bathroom was damp, the shower didn't run properly and the windowsills were damp also there were scuff and makeup marks on the walls. During the night the police were called out as there were a couple fighting in the reception and another couple fighting in their room so we were kept awake, understandable the staff are not responsible for other peoples actions but they didn't apologise or anything when we checked out. The staff seemed unhelpful and disinterested in basic costumer service. We paid £45 for a room which we don't think was worth £20.
We could leave our luggage before check in and after checking out, which helped a great deal. The location due to it being central. Simplicity of the room and it being clean and tidy.
The room was too warm so could of done with a fan. A little noisy at night but that was down to other guests so not the hotels fault.
the price of room was pretty cheap clean rooms
sink was hanging away from the wall. room was very small
for the price we paid for 2 nights we thought it was good at the end of the day if your going blackpool for a weekend of fun it does not matter how basic the hotel is, I have seen some of the bad reviews but at end of the day you get what you pay for, yes the rooms could have been more modern or had more pillows but we used the room as a place to sleep and that was it whilst during the day and night we were out having fun. its not the best hotel but I would go back and stay due to the price
over all it was ok, could have done with more pillows and maybe a small fridge in the room so we could have cold drinks or maybe a vending machine at the entrance so we could have got a cold drink before we came in etc
