Easy to get to places. We had friends living in Shirley Warren and we could reach them easily, but we also could reach Southampton City Centre as well. |

I used one of the refurbished rooms. Excellent bedding with a selection of synthetic and feather pillows - both good. "Fashionable" bathroom, but the basin is more for show than for use - impossible to avoid spashing and making a mess - hope room service doesn't mind. Used the pool and spa. Very satisfied. Can't comment on VFM as it was a late/cheap booking. |

Access to the nature reserve; parking; lunch in the bar; service in the restaurant. Bad administration. Need for non-feather pillows ignered. Determined attempt to charge for the dog although I had documentary evidence that there was no charge. |

Good room and spa complex. When checking out, the receptionist refused to give me a VAT receipt saying "ask your travel agent (hotel bookings) for it. |

Beautiful gardens full of wild life - why don't you give tours? Reception staff very helpful. Too much noise from Weddings including the drunks returning to their rooms at 02.00 with great noise!! We were there on business and could have been placed in a "quiet" part of the Hotel. |

Very good attitude of all staff towards guests. They were pleasant and helpful. The location of the hotel in its own grounds was also a plus. |

I liked the welcoming staff and the extensive grounds and facilities. The quality and clealiness of rooms were excelent for the price I paid. The ambiance of the lounge and public facilities was excelent. I doubt if real ale lovers would be satisfied, but they are a minority! I realy am being churlish as the bar is well stocked except for hand pumped ale. |

Friendly staff No dining tables in the bar, although the menu was better than the restaurant. Some flexibility with the menu would have been better. |

Great meal in the restaurant and all the staff were very friendly and most helpful. The bed was too soft for my preference. |
